I’m talking to you. You know next to nothing about American law save the regurgitated trivia you’re spewing about this thread. Take your L on the chin like a man.

It’s buddy not “body”

123JohnF:
Learn English, body. And American law if you are here or wanna be here. I gave a very correct and great advice to the person who asked. You are making garbage here not related to this topic. Go talk like this to your mama.

Hi everyone, I helped my mum fill her ds 160 b1/b2 form but after submitting I realized I made some mistakes with some dates and it’s past 30days since I submitted the application. Can I fill another form to edit the mistakes, and can I do that without picking another appointment date. Because she already has a date for May and the next available date is in August. Is there any way I can fill another form without changing her appointment date? Pls help

Why your husband doesn't apply for you and your son for residence? - It will be the question in your interview and you will be denied. If your husband is in US, he should have you, his wife and his son in his PR application and in the computer it will show up before your interview. Your chances are very slim to get a tourist visa.

Your mom can bring her documents, explanation letter and try to explain during her interview, ask the consular officer to correct. It's very hard to correct unless it's a minor mistake. If you try it before her interview, she will be denied automatically.

Hi

Pls where did u have ur interview? Lagos or Abuja?

Discounts? It's not everybody that asks for discount. We simply paid the amount we were told to pay since we made them know it was out of pocket. Not everybody knows about discounts.

Also I guess paying out of pocket is cheaper than using insurance and the latter has a longer cycle of payment. Then also costs in some states are cheaper than others. I know Atlanta is less (less than 10K) than NY wch is about 18K

When u say costs Shud be more than 10K, do u mean the hospital stay only or with lab, obgyn, tests and pediatrician?

It is well.

Hallos, happy sunday to you all.

So I had my 221g interview yesterday, Saturday 6th April. Time was 10.30am but l left there at about 1.30pm. Crazyyy!!!
Got my visa renewed.

If you used your visa for birthing, make sure you have receipts and make sure your bill was 10k upwards and you didn’t accept discount! If you fall into this, I suggest you refund the discount oh.

Lagos.
Yes, not everybody asks for discount yet it worked against some I know and heard at the interview. Dunno what you have to do to refuse discount but pls refuse at all cost.

Yes, I learnt some hospitals are cheaper, one VO said they have blacklisted some cos they still claim back this money from government. So we already know the fate of ple who will use these hospitals.
What I will say is one should ask if they r giving discount or not and refuse or just pay up.
At the end of the day, they reserve the right to issue or refuse.

Omobendel had explained how to do this severally on this thread. Fill a new DS-160 form with the correct information, then go to the cgi profile and input the new DS-160 code. You can now click update and print the new confirmation page.

NB: Make sure the new confirmation page carries the new DS160 code

Afonja or Agatu?... Whatever you call yourself, I believe you live in the US, a grown up man with family and by now should at least been exposed to civilization and maturity by now, you always come here to constitute nuisance and your banter towards people's questions is so childishly ridiculous, you are cocky in your response to whoever dare challenge you.. If you have nothing to offer just get out of people's business, na you go first live for America?
I hardly comment here but I read and gain a lot, if na you be God, I'm sure you will seize rain for many years and the world will be at your feet kneeling and begging you... I read a lot of public forums outside Nigeria and they are all constructive in their responses... I'm sure you will stupidly respond, but Hey I'm here for you.. ARINDIN.

That's incorrect. If you do not know the answer to something, please do not give people wrong answers that will confuse them.

Click on the CEAC site, click on retrieve application, put in all the details plus security questions, a screen will pop up letting you know the form you are trying to retrieve has been submitted and giving you the option to view confirmation page or create new application. Click on create new application, correct what you need to correct etc and submit. You can then go to the profile on CGI and change the DS160 number. You have to do this not later than 72 hours before the interview. If your interview is far, still do it now. If you have issues changing the CGI number, send an email to support-nigeria@ustraveldocs.com and call the call centre from 9am weekdays on +234 1 227 8955. Explain the issue, they would change your appointment to reflect the new form number and send you an email. Voila

Good day everyone,

I was asked to sharpie follow up appointment with 221g after submitting drop box application.

my question is, I was supposed to travel on 5th April which was filled in my ds160 form. now my new appointment date is 24th April meaning my travel date is no longer feasible. Do I have to fill a new ds160 form to reflect a new travel date? or I can still leave the ds160 on my profile since its on administrative process with them?

thanks waiting for your reply.

Did they ask for ur receipts and had a look thoroughly at them?

What other questions did they ask?

Do u have a transcript of ur interview so we know what to expect?

Pls share.

You need the receipt. Go to any GTB branch and ask them to print out a copy if the receipt

good day all

i have an interview at the US embassy later this month, i don't have any receipt of payment because i did the transfer on a Gtb Mobile app, what i have is an appointment confirmation letter , showing the details of the appointment , and a section below that, titled MRV FEES PAYMENT, showing my confirmation number and the amount i paid, i want to find out if this is acceptable. thanks

Pls can you adults end this childishness? You all do not have to RSVP to every fight or whenever your name gets mentioned. People come here for advice, some which answers a Google search will provide, its either you answer or ignore. No need making any one feel bad. You all should quit derailing this thread with your pettiness and go drink some water.

Yes o. Very very similar. My wife stayed for same number of months and travelled to Europe. Didn't use her 2 year visa also.

We also got a date after three weeks.

We will see how it goes. Mine is a few days before you so you should get plenty info before yours. lol!! My take is, attend the interview, present matter as e be and let them exercise their discretion. There are too many places to visit in the world. No need for plenty fuss. No one will turn down a discount. The most important thing is that you pay what you are billed. Denial of a visa should not be punitive but passed on an infraction. If people are not flight risks and the hospital did not go back to the government to make up the discount, then what are we talking about? Capitalism means individuals price their products as they deem fit. One should not mandate others to spend 15k at the minimum or risk not getting their visas renewed.
Will hopefully come back here to upload my transcript.

How did he get his PR? Through marriage? If so, there is some waiting time to petition the new wife. Try a tourist visa but having your husband there, it may deny automatically telling you to apply as his wife and son.

Why didn't he petition you both just after marriage? Are you and his son in his immigration file? Because if you are not, it may complicate things.

Job-sponsored. We all know the wait time for PR family sponsored GC is way too long. I have a business and dealings to take care of in Nigeria so i truly intend on visiting and returning back. I'm just asking if there is a way to present my case.
