There is a good reason why a movie like Shazam 2 is already in development at Warner Bros.

Children are the main casts of Shazam and these children are growing.
Asher Angel is 16 and he is playing a 14 year old, surely WB would not delay Shazam 2 until Asher turns 18 or 19.
That would be a disaster because in the next Shazam movie Billy would be, at most, 15 and Asher should still look that age.

Darla the little girl is also growing.
Jack Grazer and the little Asian boy are growing up.
As time goes by, their real age will start showing on their face.... Not just the face but the height.
Darla will definitely get taller and WB won't sit around delaying a sequel.


So having a 4 years gap between the first movie and a sequel is a terrible idea.
A 3 years gap is also bad.

Because Shazam casts is mainly children.

Shazam 2 will likely come out in winter 2021.
WB would never allow more than a 2 year gap between the first movie and a sequel.

Lol, it ain't women support, King. I do think Wonder Woman had the most mature and cohesive plot with some of the best supporting cast in the entire DCEU. Then again its just my opinion.

And as much as i disliked Justice League, i can't just forget the sour taste Suicide Squad left in my mouth after i left the theatres, i was almost pissed. Also didn't help that i fell sick the next day. Then again, i set the bar too high and my hype levels were through the roof prior to its release.

The reason why I wasn't so pleased is because bronze tiger is one of the top, if not the top martial acts fighter in the DC. So seeing someone who can't even bend makes it feel somehow.

Let's wait and see then

You are right. Wonder woman's plot was very good and straight forward. I guess the reason people didn't rate it so high is because she was the first female superhero movie and also the last fight with Aries. I myself was disappointed in that fight. She was fighting a god of war, so I expected a better fight.

Stunt double do almost everything these days. They only need a double that has the same height and build as Elba...

This is not an issue. There are lots of de-aging softwares to use. Besides, other effects such as height should not also be an issue. The effects in Lord of the rings with short hobbits can be applied here.

You misunderstood the message of that sequence. It doesn't matter whether it's a man, woman or polar bear that's fighting Ares. He's the god of war. He feeds off violence. That's why Wonder Woman had to defeat him by "not fighting". Still cheesy though

same th!ng am saying. It would've taken a man time to figure that out. Imagine it was supes fighting Ares, we'd have had a c0ol sequence yes, but becos kent would've fought ares the way he did zod. But w0nder w0man had to reas0n in her attacks, and that's what Patty portrayed. Even the JL animated series explored that. I don't find it cheesy bt realistic.
