I couldn't even go through some of the comments made by nairalanders as some of them lacks sense in them.... the story given by the late husband's friend was just smelling lies and very shallow..... I knew for the woman to call thugs as claimed by the man's friend on her husband,he must have been a wife beater and she has gotten enough... all wife beaters have that one useless friend who gives them wrong advise and behaved exactly like them...... they are also terrible liars...... I don't feel pity for the man and I wish same on all wife beaters out there.... Every sane person knows that the man in the first story lied. His story doesn't make any sense, just like this your comment.

When a man or woman you're married to abuses you, the best thing to do is quit. It is that simple. Hiring thugs to beat up your abusers is the dumbest thing anything anyone would do.
Her husband is dead now and the shittiest part is that she can't even plead self defense because she hired them so she is likely going to end up in jail and her husband's people will finish whatever she and her husband worked for.

ALL MEN sometimes have some certain USELESS FRIENDS who give them USELESS, STUPID and IDIOTIC advice. I've seen it with my eyes all my life! They were around my late father and they are around my Uncle and other men around.
But I certainly don't have such, because "light and darkness have no communion".


And let me mention this: When we were kids, some of dad's friends were telling him to go have kids outside, that "it's not good for all your kids to come from only 1 woman, she can brain wash them, buy them over", etc, + other stupid advice. My dad nearly did have kids outside but well, I think it was God that prevented it. Along the line, he became born again and eventually ended up a Pastor (not as occupation though), which he was, till his passing on. He used to tell me those things then and all his friends (+several other men I know) that married more than one wife then or had kids outside, mouth cannot say the numerous disasters that I saw befall them, especially now that we're adults. Many have issues with their children, some are on the run hiding their head because of "home battle", lol, + all manner of problems. I learnt great lessons from the life of my father and other sensible men around.

If the woman's lawyer play the battered woman's card, she can get released without a charge. The brothers that beat him up can never get charged for first degree murder. They didn't set out to kill anybody that fateful day, plus he died over a week after the attack. A good defense can even prove that his death is not connected to the assault from his in-laws. The highest charge they can get is aggravated assault which may not even come with a jail term. The biggest loser here is the evil, cradle robbing, wife-beating Alloy. I have absolutely no sympathy for him, he got what he deserved.

Very unfortunate. I don't and will never support men beating their wives but the woman is wrong and a lot of questions still needs to be answered. The man too was assaulted and except there are other medical reports to prove his intestinal bleeding was caused by something other than the beating, I think the woman and her brothers are in for a serious case. She could have walked away, rather than enduring for 12years.There is more to this story. In the end it is only God that will judge.
