It takes 24hours before the system will recognise you have done the 15 trips. Uber promises to refund last week but they didn't. I did my 15th trip on Tuesday morning and switched to taxify when they charged my 16th trip. Had to wait for 24hrs before 0% service fee started.

In my case last week, I was charged until my 21st trip. I sent a message to them that night and by morning, I got a message on 0% starting and it was zero from then. So you maybe right that in some cases, one may not enjoy it until the next day.

Please, is it true that VIO now requests for Hackney permit from Uber drivers?

I thought Hackney was for red plate numbers

Did the person use Uber as a getaway for some kind of offence? If so, the person is guilty, he needs to get hackney permit. But If not, then the person is lying.
Even if they know you're Uber, what gives them the right to ask you for permit when you're sharing your personal ride undecided

Omo uber is trying their best.. The only thing remains is for uber to dash money and not collect any commission at all for the rest of their business in Nigeria

For my side they are not trying, I prefer the 1.2 surge on , what's the benefit of spending 2 hrs in traffic with 0% and getting 2k, that's fuel money if you ask me... All these promo's are needless if they are doing the right thing

Note: They r doing the best they can do regarding the chain of demand and supply in the business, but someone is honestly not willing to shift his/her ground when it comes to cut

I noticed a lot of riders don't understand the rating system, I just dropped a very happy rider now and in my presence she rated me 1 star, I was shocked, she said she tot she needed to touch all the stars to rate five so she started from 1 and just skip comment. Uber needs to educate riders more

No wonder ratings they drop

I don't think so, it's a network glitch , last week they notified at my 10th trip that I had 5 more to go and at the 16th trip no 25%. Same as this week

They exist, but it's not worth it. You may get very little peanuts in the end

Better run it yourself

So VIO stopped me today and rider was sitting directly behind me not on owners corner.
The officer parked me and started the checks.
I was Lil shaky cos I've read about LSDRI here on the thread.
Fortunately or unfortunately the rider came to join us who happens to be a corper and the oga saw him
He called the officer checking us to allow us go because we are corpers
Fortunately - I was let go
Unfortunately - I still don't know if he would have asked me for lsdri (since I drive my own car but rider was at the back)

Abeg which one be Hackney permit ?

Can a 2003 Honda Accord qualify for Uber? The backlight is 2005 backlight though. Very clean and sound, and parked at home without use.

When you change car won't you also update it on ur Profile, of course you will
like seriously? U Hv little knowledge how your app works and you are quoting my write-ups...
U can change car and not update it on your profile but will only get you into trouble if a rider reports

You're lucky you did not mention you are an Uber driver, dem for chop you mugu, you're smart indeed, also thank God the rider was calm self to follow ur flow. I remember my early days of uber driving, I followed one way on Ikeja along,
dem vultures rush me from left right center. I was calm and answered dem calmly until my stupid rider started shouting that he was late and if I didn't know that was one way, na there confusion enter my body, how stupid some people can be, anyway I paid sha.
