Mister, there is nothing hard to believe in this, unless you are such a person who can never give a tip!

Such a mistake of adding an extra zero digit can easily be made while typing the amount. Your other questions are not difficult to crack from the OP's plain explanation. Of course, the pic is the DP on the Whatsapp account!

Don't try to complicate an otherwise simple matter where the culprit has even admitted the need to get back to the OP (in terms of refund - based on the displayed WhatsApp chat)!

Taxify drivers are mostly like that.

Once they are on that app they throw decency to the wind.


Took one and the transfer network was a lot itchy. Tried it twice and they debited twicd. For this guy to transfer the moneg back was a case . Reporting them to taxify yields nothing. That was the last time I used that app. At least Uber makes an effort but Taxify? Unruly drivers and users.

You are getting me wrong... its way possible to tip that much, but to have done that obviously means he had a good ride or bonded with the driver, its rare but not impossible to turn your back almost immediately on such good deeds. Also knowing fully well, you can be tracked and reported..

What a pity!!! That's why some people can't progress. Wouldn't he exhaust the money in a matter of days?
Anyway i had similar experience while driving for Lyft. I picked one black American (Akata) who threatened to blow my head when next he see me. immediately i left the scene, i thought of calling 911 to make a report but later decided to call Lyft to log the complaint and the identity of the passenger was noted for necessary action.
Also there was a case of a missing Nigeria girl involving a uber driver, unfortunately she eventually died but the driver was tracked down in a matter of few days.
So its possible to track him

If you're working with me, then you'll know i am one of such that gives/dashes cash at freelance especially if i get a good service. I remember working with one of my workers at a particular site, he talked to me about his accommodation issue dat he needed like 20k to add up to settle d issue, meanwhile, that was like d second time he has worked with me, before God & man,..I immediately transferred 20k out of d 27k i was having in my account home & abroad. I did so because d boy was devoted & hardworking from my observations. Here u are doubting 1,500 extra a man gave someone for maybe a good service he got.

My brother, He is saying d truth!!....or are u telling me u can't detect a real story from fake if u were given this project as a criminology student.

Why can’t the guy simply report the matter to the police and the driver will have himself to blame. All this social media may not help much if the guy isn’t on the platform. Taxify cud also look into it bt they will be to slow.
