Congratulations. Please o. Come and put me through
Dolapok:
TRV Approved!!!!
I just checked it now. I am very new on this platform infact the newest self. I joined months after submitting my application. I was naive about the whole process. I couldn't have done it without God and him. I was always reluctant to join and he made me join. Even if I am new here I still thought to share my testimony. And to all others I pray for a successful application. Once again thanks to @Qudkom he literally went through every page of my document and scrutinised everything, when he told me to start afresh I thought it was a joke but now I see the value. I am very lucky I met him in person and he introduced me to this platform.

Hello Everyone, Please a really quick one. My parents are serving as my sponsors but they do not have funds in their personal account, they only have funds in their business account. Will this be a problem? Is it true that the embassy regards fund from only personal account. Please what should I do?

Hello Ayomiposi,

Every application of respective applicants is imbue with certain circumstances that connects the eligibility process ranging from "sponsorship, DLI, LE, Purpose of visit, Home ties etc of such filed application to "finance/financial sufficiency" which is paramount to a sponsor's "source of funds/availability of funds" minus the sponsorship expenses(tuition fees, LE); now enabling a focus to the new total available balance which could reflect in either a company or personal account on the occasion of such sponsorship pivoting around the "sponsor's (financial) circumstances."

What is of essence is to be guided orientally in order not to risk such sponsorship intentions by committing the source of funds to a bottleneck especially when most of the funds is domicile in a company's account. It only calls for scrutiny when a sponsor is using the company's account at the expense of its own risk to facilitate such sponsorship tendencies which would be a red flag.

In other to avoid this, the tradition of using a personal account was birthed as to a stretched length of a transparent guarantee/safety that the funds in such account can be accessed for any primary or even secondary reasons without derailing the financial flows of the source of funds when using a company's account.

In excerpt, whether its a company or personal account, for as long as it warranty the sufficiency in steady financial flows without sticking the source of funds in/close to mud, cause it would emanate to parading dirt(red flag).

I hope this answered your query.

Hello bosses, I secured a loan from prodigy finance for my masters program. However the loan could only cover my tuition and part of my living expenses. I am scared of applying for a visa with just part of living cost (5000CAD) left to be accounted for.

Secondly, is it worth taking a loan from them for 10 years? The loan is worth almost 80% of the actual loaned amount over 10 years. Thanks for your usual and swift responses.

Makano, how long did it take b4 u got the medical passed update?
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by Bracha: 7:37pm On Apr 13, 2019
Hi, i'm not sure you can do that medical exam before Wednesday, all the same, I'll advise you ask them if it can be done before then. I'll also advise you manage your expectations about it. It could take 3-7 days for the result to be updated.
When you get the passport request, try to submit as soon as possible so there won't be any delays.

042viber12:
Quick one, I plan on doing the medicals hopeful before Wednesday. Qlife is my choice...i want to ask, how long does it take to get the result updated on my cic account plus wen I get my passport request, must I go Immediately to submit at vfs cos I want to travel for my bro wedding...just need to know the passport request doesn't have a deadline for the passport to be submitted

Hello, securing loans for study purposes isn't a bad idea. However, you need to take calculated risks and do a proper forcast on your profession and the chances of you being able to pay up the loan. You should also known that financial aspect isn't the only thing you cover when securing a study visa. I wish you all the best in whatever choice you make. Some students scale through student loans while some spend years refinancing and trying to pay up with their stipends.

Hey,

Regarding your second question, It is up to you to decide if taking the loan is worth it...You need to genuinely justify the cost to yourself;

Here are 2 key questions you may want to ask yourself;
1. What's the placement/employment prospect of the program you're taking this loan for like
2. What's the reputation of the school and the program

Regarding your first question, you must show the VO proof of funds for (tuition + CAD10K/CAD 11K if you're schooling in Quebec). If the loan doesn't cover the total cost, you need to account for the balance with savings or sponsorship.

What program are you looking at?

in addition to what Qudkom said, if you haven't gotten a sponsor, please do. This won't be like the regular sponsorship rather the sponsor plays a role of "Support than sponsorship." I have seen successful few applicants in the erstwhile who had gotten approval using prodigy finance loan though I don't actually know how the prodigy finance thing works.

Also, don't fail to provide the relevant documents backing the accessibility of the funds by you, likewise your SOP should constructively relate " how the prodigy finance loan came to be and how its going to be offset" upon the completion of your program.

Your intended sponsor will have to write a "letter of support" of pledging to pay for the balance 5k for your LE and flight, then get the balance 5k transferred into your personal account if its going to be a third party inclusion. The bank statement would come in handy too even if the funds isn't strong but fairly strong would suffice(in addition to your personal account if applicable esp if you are/have been gainful employed).

My logical opinion

IKR!! I find his posts so stressful to read sometimes. He misuses words, uses words in the wrong context and uses excessively big words which could have been simplified for better comprehension.
E.g his use of 'sage' is almost always out of context in a lot of his posts; 'wise' would have done the job excellently well lol.
His use of 'is you' instead of 'are you' makes me cringe everytime lol

I just didn't want to be the one to tell him; I wanted someone else to open the discussion then I'll come in. So, thanks for doing that grin tongue

PS: he does such an amazing job here, it cannot be overemphasised. I'm sure the grammar affects only me (it's like an OCD for me or something lol), so he shouldn't take it personally; it's me not him grin
