Im dey game no mean say dem no fit fall am.

The only thing be say na children full universities these days, if not, that guy for don bite the dust since.

You never hear say UNN students once kpai lecturer finish come use stethoscope dey check whether de job don complete

Some lecturers will just hate a student for no just cause! It's too bad! I hope the management of UNN takes up this case and save the guy from depression and suicide.


Kudos to the good lecturers who encourage students in one way or the other to be their best.

That lecturer is lucky the guy is not a cultist, had it been that is the case the lecturer would have been a past tense in that school.

I am happy this same issue has come up. I almost did not graduate from UNN because of my project supervisor. Just because I acknowledged him last in my final year project, he became annoyed. I explained to other lecturers who saw nothing in what I did. One of them went to apologize on my behalf but he refused. If not for God's mercy and grace, I wouldn't have graduated when my mates graduated. I pray that this guys case would be resolved and the lecturer be brought to justice. Enough is enough!

What you did was wrong hence I wouldn't blame your project supervisor. The first person you acknowledge after you creator ( if you choose to) is your supervisor. Even if he is too strict or a devil ,you should follow this protocol. To those reading this please do likewise

Our tertiary education system require branding to meet modern age.

1. Promotion of lectures or professors in the academic suppose to be assessed based on the performance of student under them. How many student scores 60% , 70%, 80% etc. It doesn't make sense that u teach students and u are proud that they could not deliver for the schools exam.

2. Introducing feedback mechanism at the end of the session
Where each student will have a way of scoring their tutors based on parameters like social interaction, academic relevance and utilities. Called it tutor performance score. I bet u all this yeye lecturer will sit up. If their relevance in the varsity system is dependent on this tutor performance score.

With these measures and other the varsity tutor will think twice before transferring his or her aggression on their students. And the school will have opportunity to weed out cruelties in the varsity.

Mind U for those students who have no biz at all in being in the varsity and are crying foul of injustice and so on. Their academic records with other lecturers will prove the innocence of those accused.

I only suggested the right way to follow. Human being varies with different way of thinking. What meant be small mistake to students may be blunder to some lecturers. You need to study your supervisor by asking questions. This is what you see in many public universities in Nigeria that is why my kid will never attend such university.

Honestly, the system is too messed up!

Dr Osadebe was my project supervisor too along with this guy. He was unserious and he had other carryover courses, that's why he didnt graduate with us. Dr osadebe was not holding him back, he was only trying to make his work perfect.He was the one holding himself because he started writing the project late and was always making mistakes.

Hence you are implying that the student wasn't serious about his project. However even though he was trying to make the project good, why was the acknowledgement underlined? I want to believe that there were other areas to correct in that project why that one or he shouldn't have acknowledged the supervisor?

Other corrections were made but due to the fact that their only intention was to make the lecturer look bad, they had to screenshot that part only
