My Bayelsa is still better than your Lagos.

Your brain is paining you...bayelsa is competing with less developed areas in Lagos like Ikorodu, Agege, Iyana Ipaja , Abule Egba.

The IGR of Ikeja alone is more than that of the whole of Bayelsa

Money that exchange hands in Lagos alone in one day is probably what exchange hands in Bayelsa in a year.

Meet a Psychiatrist to fix your brain.

The whole of South East\South south is shit.

The resources of Nigeria is been shared according to LGA, meaning Kano state with 44Lga will get 4times of what Bayelsa with 8LGA gets, During OBJ's era Alamieyeseigha created 24 additional Lga, Tinunu did same in Lagos, the most populated state in the country having just 20Lga but Obj a southerner refused to recognize any

Oya let's talk

It is NOT the job of OBJ (or any President for that matter) to approve (or create) LGAs.

The Nigerian Constitution lists all 774 LGAs in Nigeria, which means that to create new LGAs (or even dissolve existing LGAs) requires an amendment to the schedule of the Constitution. Accordingly, instead of chasing shadows in derogation of substance (and fixating on individuals over institutions), Nigerians should be discussing Constitutional changes more attuned to our collective desires/goals.

Despite the chunk of revenue Bayelsa receives, the level of development there is not encouraging.

A state that has only eight local government, scantly populated

Delta and Bayelsa are the most dussapointing states in the SS.

Those 2 states should each have at least a state-owned fishing company with dozens of trawlers going out to fish in the High seas.

They should have school for water sports where their indigenes can learn and compete internationally.

Instead, they elect idiots like Udu, Okowa, Seriake and Timipre to lead them. Small Akwa Ibom of yesterday has left those idiots behind.

Ibori stole dem dry and was convicted abroad, yet they welcomed the thief like a friend with open arms. They blame tinubu for the failures they elected as governors. It's a pity.

The money their former governor siphoned during OBJ in addition to the one the former minister of petroleum who is also a Bayelsan embezzled is enough to turn Bayelsa to Lisbon.

Do you share free money to them in Lagos? Is it not money from our region that has been used to develop all parts of Nigeria? Why do your people want to die on top Niger delta oil money? Can your states survive without Niger Delta oil money?

This begs the question. Which state is the largest oil producing state in Nigeria at the moment? Prior to 2007 it was Delta, then it was Rivers before Akwa Ibom overtook. Seems Delta is now the largest oil producing state in the country. Any data to that effect?
It has a large civil service

Let me tell you this. What you call a constitution is a misnormal. What you're calling constitution is the constitution promulgation decree number 2 of 1999. It was drafted by the military guys and signed alone by General Abdulsalami Abubakar
