Rohr on probable AFCON winners.

"Group D is the strongest with big opponents, including South Africa. For me, Morocco is one of the favorites to win the Cup, just like Ivory Coast, which won twice,'' said Rohr to Medias24.

''I think Egypt, which will play at home, is the number one favorite. There is also Senegal, the best African team in the FIFA rankings.

''As I said before, Morocco remains a favorite of this CAN, Tunisia too. After, I hope we too will be able to get involved in the title race.''

When Oliseh left, how come the discipline left and Onobi disappeared. When it comes to tactical discipline, Mikel is one of the best I know.
Mikel has been playing number 10 since the olympics so that point means nothing

Guardiola is good but never a genius. A Genius should be able to diversify his strategies. Not having just one style of play.
Mind you he left Bayern worse than he met it.
Couple with the amount of money he has spent in city he still relies on the old guys.
Also City has been playing fantastic football before he came.
You are talking as if he took over a team like Cardiff loll.
Bayern won treble before he joined them while City won double so what has he done that's special.
Most of the money Guardiola spent is on defenders like Mendy, Walker, Laporte and Stones. Bernardo Silva and Gabriel Jesus are two offensive buys which were not exorbitant. So how do you expect him not to rely on players in his squad.

Bayern won the treble but Guardiola achieved things in Bayern that were not achieved before. Broke records at the club and is the best manager in the history of the club with respect to the Bundesliga.

Please, City have played nowhere close to what we are playing under Guardiola.

Genius.

Knowing that it could take time to get a visa. The professional thing to do was not to come and explain the situation. It is not about patriotism here.

If you have a one way visa and need to reapply for a Visa, It is not wise to go to a place where you do not plan to spend at least a month.
Did he come to see his girlfriend? How can you say it is not about patriotism?

Guardiola went to big clubs that were winning titles before he went there. That's the koko. Nothing special. grin

If he is beating this season, he go tear race go rest. grin
Learn. chrisooblog said Barcelona were in a poor state. At the time of Guardiola's arrival, Barcelona was atrocious. The went two seasons without a title.

Mention the top performing sides in football today. Top five and let me see how many do not play in a possessive attacking way.

Look at the top four teams in the Champions league today. Most possessive attacking styles in most of their games.

This quote from our own Baba Onigbinde in white flesh has left me demoralized and terribly angry this night. What excuse does a coach have to habitually downgrade his team's chances before every single competition even when we are clearly not worse than the other teams?.

Rohr's pre tourney statements have always shown a marked lethargy, resignation, and lack of hunger for achievement. For him, it is enough that his " young team" has qualified for the tourney. Every other thing is na jara.

The worst part is I'm afraid he has infected our players with his legbere unambitious mentality. One only has to look at the games we played before and during the WC to see proof of this. Apart from the fluke against Argentina in the friendly and Musa's twin moments of brilliance against Iceland, what else can we look back on?. Is it the shambolic midfield or the open-post-missing Ighalo or the perpetually anonymous Iheanacho?. BIG SHAME!.

Now the same pattern is repeating himself. Very soon Rohr may be losing to Burundi and giving us his usual "my team is young and inexperienced" nonsense....

Wallahi, Rohr matter tire me. Big time!.

You actually abused his physical appearance.

Well it is a known fact that Guardiola wants to dominate and win as much games as possible. He strives and lives for it. That does not make the Champions League his primary objective. His objective is to get the team playing brilliantly in as much games as possible. The titles that come out of it is okay.
Okay! Play brilliantly without winning a trophy after spending millions of dollars. I see. Smart move for the owners. grin

The boy is very good and you know I actually mean that. However, he needs serious guidance, if not, things will go south very quickly. A good U23 outing, if they do qualify, may set things straight for him again.

It is not downgrading oga. This is how professionals talk. If he says Nigeria will win the tournament who will that help? Everybody and their mothers know Nigeria goes to the afcon to win but that doesn't mean the coach should say it.

Which kind of talk is this?

In that game, Mikel was in position and Onazi was not in his position. Mikel was punished for refusing to clean Onazi's mess. Mikel even pointed the spot to Onazi that he should be there.

So I wonder why you are changing story.

How many times have you heard we were punished because Mikel abandoned his role but it has happened repeatedly to Onazi.

Onazi is positionally deficient and can never be compared to Mikel in that aspect.

I'm not looking at his age, I'm looking at his abilities he's easily the most technical defender in the EPL sadly he's in a league that plays jam body and muscle type of football
