You must be a fool for using such a vulgar sentence. Did I abuse you at all, in my earlier post? It shows your lack home training. I believed your parents must have tried but you refused to learn.

Then, you are the one killing yourselves with so much hate in you. No wonder you may never progress in life unless you do away with such hatred.
cheesy :Dis like you smoke weed this morning.

See let me tell you. The hatred is real. So forget all this pretence.

Truth be told, I see no reason as to why Igbo's and Yoruba's should consistently keep abusing themselves online. Let me tell you about myself, i met this beautiful and wonderful lady during my nysc camp in Ogun state. She is a Yoruba Muslim and I am an Igbo Christian. This didn't stop us from falling in love, she was my joy and I was same to her. We prayed, discussed and did almost everything together. A day hardly passes by without us talking...we shared everything which bothered us and never hid anything from each other. She is a seamstress and I am into ICT... After service and all I asked her why wait let's get married... But then there was the issue of religion and tribe, our stumbling block. For heavens sake why should a thing like religion or even tribe stop two adults who are in love from being together. We nearly took a crazy measure but then we reconsidered.
Look be you Igbo or Yoruba for your own best interest stop being tribal and drop every tribal sentiment. Forget what our parents or the society have told us about the other tribe, it isn't true. There isn't any tribe that is all good, none. Few weeks ago I made a comment on a post about stopping tribalism especially on this platform nairaland where it seems to be the heaven for tribalist..and this fellow from no where came and started insulting me and calling me name and all. I hold no grudge with the guy I only believe that if he had something tangible doing he won't have time for such comments.
I pray God heals us all of all tribalism... Racism and xenophobia is enough for us. Let's not add our own self hate to it...
BTW I and Balqis are still lovers and hopefully one day things would change and we'll be with each other.
I love this babe.. Thank You

In real life, there is nothing like that.... forget those vituperation on NL. There are so many kids here, who believed they are having fun at the detriment of their future and nothing more.
Exactly. That's exactly what I know. I've Yoruba friends over here, whom I told to save a reasonable amount of money from their tailoring work let me link them with my friends in Malaysia. They were so happy and I'm sure they're getting ready to travel as one just showed me his international passport recently. The verbal vituperations and jingoism is only here on Nairaland. However, most of them have this natural hatred for Ndigbo. When I was yet to build house in Lagos, I could remember vividly how one Yoruba landlord refused to rent his apartment to me , just because I'm omo Igbo. I'm just happy that I've left Lagos with my family, and I'm happy that Igbo's are now adopting "operation head back home".

Re: Igbos And Yorubas Have Historical Ties – Ooni Of Ife by Aboguede(m):
Graduates without common senses.

You don't need a prophet to tell you that the only problem in Nigeria and Africa at large is divide and rule.

Even the dumbest mugu knows this

Today you have aniocha in delta state and all the delta igbos but as you know, they are now shy of admitting their origin.

Meanwhile, most of the delta igbos originally hailed from onitsha south mostly Nteje in oyi L.G.A but their current location in delta state was only their farm land in the olden days normally called ( ula agu) which simply mean staying in the farm

But while they were in that location farming as usuall, the biafran war broke out and when the Nigerian soldiers asked them their origin, they claimed delta

The white man only used the spirit of fear and deception to concure people and that is what they call politics. Go through history and learn because, it is better to know and keep quit than to be totally ignorant.

The same thing was against Indians and Pakistan.

But that ACT is also very OLD. According to the Bible, Abraham had two sons but from history, they are worst enemies and they don't accept to be brothers either. Today, they have created the world largest institutions (islam and jews)

Another time, i will lecture you on the relationship of the igbos, yorubas and huasas

You can organize a group carry Placard with 'Lagos is no man's Land" Written on it then match across Lagos today if you are not a Coward, but I am very sure you are a coward like your Generation cheesy

In Kwara It is Only Ilorin that have an Emir, and if you are also sure of your claim you can also go to Kwara carry Placard with 'Kwara is Fulani territory" written on it

We do not have anything in common with Afonja.

You don't even know whether your tenth grandfather is from Abeokuta who now married an Igbo woman .......

you don't even know whether your 15th generations ahead of you are all Yorubas who emigrated to Alaigbo.

IGBO AND YORUBA are so different and we have nothing in common in everything

Our culture and way of life is different, we don't even think alike. It is even glaring to the dead that we can never be the same and we are different
Some people have small brains and stunted intelligence!
Be matured for once!
Grow up!

If I was Igbo and adopted by Yoruba parents, how can I know?

The Ooni may think he's right.

But the tribal war-lords on Nairaland beg to differ.

Truth is, most of all these tribal-banters end online. In reality, they are best of friends. At the end of the day, Tunde will always patronize Emeka at Alaba Int'l market, Amaka will still get married to Segun. Very funny set of people.
Bros wisdom full your head. I am igbo, my best friend is Yoruba, I connected him with his current girlfriend from Abia State. but on Nairaland, I dey finish his people.

You are race mixing with a dirty afonja Muslim. You are indirectly trying to create children who are contaminated with dirty afonja blood. Your actions are not improving the Igbo race but rather trying to debase, demean and destroy the Igbo race. If you eventually produce babies please do us a favor and keep those mixed blood children out of Igbo land. Even God gave Igbos an order not to race mix with this inferior afonja race who do not know God. If it was white then it's okay.

Nothing is creating hatred for average yoruba and igbo man if not politics those we see as our leaders have used this tribal discrimination to build their political empire and we are celebrating them without knowing, they can never preach peace. Because if they preach peace their source of income will close .we celebrate them without knowing that they are our real enemy. How come igbo and only disagree on issues relating to politics.
