Truth...Igbos are the leaders when it comes to business deals. Yorubas are learning a lot from them
Yes, no controversy, but they are not leaders in all ramifications and that doesn't mean other tribes are dumb.

This Oni is exhibiting every symptoms of 2023 Tinubu presidential ambition. But we are too wise for Oni.

"Abokki go rule you, you go tire"

We do not have anything in common with Afonja.
God forbid! Saying Igbos have somethings in common with Afonja is an aberration.
As if he's exempted undecided

You are race mixing with a dirty afonja Muslim. You are indirectly trying to create children who are contaminated with dirty afonja blood. Your actions are not improving the Igbo race but rather trying to debase, demean and destroy the Igbo race. If you eventually produce babies please do us a favor and keep those mixed blood children out of Igbo land. Even God gave Igbos an order not to race mix with this inferior afonja race who do not know God. If it was white then it's okay.
Lol, are you kidding me ? Jesus died for all, he didn't exclude any body. Moreover before Igbo or Yoruba there was the human race

You must be a fool for using such a vulgar sentence. Did I abuse you at all, in my earlier post? It shows your lack home training. I believed your parents must have tried but you refused to learn.

Then, you are the one killing yourselves with so much hate in you. No wonder you may never progress in life unless you do away with such hatred.

Majority of people in the world. Nigerians in this case, don't know that tribalism as well as religious extremism is another form of madness. This is what education should have eliminated as this form of madness is not biological, but cause by environmental factor. No thanks to our faulty educational system that glorifies certification instead of nation building- based system.

Mutual suspicion and antagonism by one ethnic group against the other is a world phenomenon.

Here in Africa, we have seen and heard of the Akan ethnic group against the Asantes in Ghana; the Zulu against the Xhosa in South Africa; the Hutus against the Tutsis in Rwanda, amongst others.

What is however exciting is the fact that most of the animosities amongst the ethic groups highlighted above have been laid to rest and they have decided to work together in love and mutual respect. Other stratified societies in African societies are now forging common grounds for progress.

But here in my country, hmmm (sighs).
@bolded, huh? When? shocked

It is not the Ooni's fault, it is the stup*d Lord Lugard and other Colonial rulers that amalgamated Hausa, Ibo, Yoruba to form the so-called Nigeria that I blame.

The Ooni may think he's right.

But the tribal war-lords on Nairaland beg to differ.

Truth is, most of all these tribal-banters end online. In reality, they are best of friends. At the end of the day, Tunde will always patronize Emeka at Alaba Int'l market, Amaka will still get married to Segun. Very funny set of people.
But yorubas dont act pornography now.

IGBO AND YORUBA are so different and we have nothing in common in everything

Our culture and way of life is different, we don't even think alike. It is even glaring to the dead that we can never be the same and we are different
That's just the truth! Igbo civilization started far before that of the Yorubas! In terms of thinking we're different. OOni should get a new brain for himself! Igbo Amaka!

Not even one! They started coming here when they saw the level of society transformation made possible by the Igbos. Tinubu too is not originally a Lagosian. Bro, imagine a Nigeria without the Igbos! The Yorubas are in Nigeria simply because the Igbos are in too. If the Igbos pull out of Nigeria, the Yorubas will not be left behind! Ask Awolowo, 1967.

You never giver her belle? Her root isn't strong If it is, even the movie "northeast"wont happen here. I'm a northerner by birth and growth. It can work the other way: guy a muslim, girl a christian.

In all bro, watch your back. I wish you well. It it were an hausa lady I would screamed abort mission immediately.

Truth be told, I see no reason as to why Igbo's and Yoruba's should consistently keep abusing themselves online. Let me tell you about myself, i met this beautiful and wonderful lady during my nysc camp in Ogun state. She is a Yoruba Muslim and I am an Igbo Christian. This didn't stop us from falling in love, she was my joy and I was same to her. We prayed, discussed and did almost everything together. A day hardly passes by without us talking...we shared everything which bothered us and never hid anything from each other. She is a seamstress and I am into ICT... After service and all I asked her why wait let's get married... But then there was the issue of religion and tribe, our stumbling block. For heavens sake why should a thing like religion or even tribe stop two adults who are in love from being together. We nearly took a crazy measure but then we reconsidered.
Look be you Igbo or Yoruba for your own best interest stop being tribal and drop every tribal sentiment. Forget what our parents or the society have told us about the other tribe, it isn't true. There isn't any tribe that is all good, none. Few weeks ago I made a comment on a post about stopping tribalism especially on this platform nairaland where it seems to be the heaven for tribalist..and this fellow from no where came and started insulting me and calling me name and all. I hold no grudge with the guy I only believe that if he had something tangible doing he won't have time for such comments.
I pray God heals us all of all tribalism... Racism and xenophobia is enough for us. Let's not add our own self hate to it...
BTW I and Balqis are still lovers and hopefully one day things would change and we'll be with each other.

love is just temptation. you can fall in love with an inanimate object if you want as well if you focus well.

you do whatever you want but dont come crying on forum when problems arise.

intertribal relations lead to a loss in culture and identity of a tribe.

only if we can come together, am an igbo, during my nysc I met wonderful people like Damilola, rafiu, sadiq, hassan, bello, bankolw, jamiu, and some Ibo brothers in camp we all were like brothers, shared ideas, culture, joke, play at same time respect and value each others belief and religion which never came between us...ignorant is the biggest problem we face in naija today, that's why our politicians don't want us all to know the truth, using our religious leaders to brainstorm most of us from believeing wat is true about this country ...I wish at least 85%of naija citizens would be educated then we will see the white truth...but due to our politicians selfish and political ambition they would rather stirrup hatred, malice, tribalism, ethnicism among us ...let's be wise ....I pledge to Nigeria my beloved country ..

You don't wake up one day and start writing your mind because you fell in love with a Yoruba Muslim girl.
Nigerians didn't just become tribalist for nothing, tribalism is high places of Nigeria,
Our president is the number tribalist, our politicians are tribalists, you don't come here to tell Nigerians to stop tribalism when the nation is built on it,
