This is totally wrong. 5 years, unacceptable. Pls, train your child... that same school may have day students... let him go daily.... don't lose your son so early

Kids of these days don't enjoy being kids at all. Two years out of the belly and they're already in school and the girls are being dressed like adults

That might do detrimental damage on your child emotionally. No, 5 is too young. A child under 16 is still developing and should not be independent. You are exposing your son to sexual violence as well. You might as well send the child to prison. I'm really sorry for being so blunt but this triggered my emotions sis.

Madam, I've taught in a school where a 4 years old boy was a boarder. In all honesty, DON'T TRY IT!
Raise your child, please. Even if he doesn't get corrupted, there will be no bond or affection between him and you both, his parents. You will hate yourself if that child can live without you at his young age.
Leave best school around, even people who went to public school make it in life. That school is not the ultimate.

Stand firm sweetie, the boy is still in mummy time, you have a lot to teach him until then. At least get him prepared... when he's double digits maybe but single digits need their mummy at night.

It beats my imagination on why a man will even entertain the idea of sending his 5 years old son to a boarding school.

This is outrageous! What would a 5-year-old be doing alone in a boarding school all alone?

Plus there are too many things happening in boarding schools these days; from homosexuality to witchcraft and all. Please, don't expose your little child to that school. He is too young to know how to guard himself against the vices there.

I am sorry to say your husband lacks what it takes to be a good parent.

5 years old is just too small to enrol into a boarding. Its not as if he is an orphan. Its a capital letter NO for me.

He is still young. He needs to understand that between 1-10yrs is when a child character forms..Sending the child to boarding school so early isn't good at all.

There is need for bonding, spiritual, etc between you and the child.

Going there now means that his character will be influenced by teachers and peers.

A 5 year old needs parental love especially from the mom. How will you even cope with the thought of ur baby out there at that age?

First of all I want to say a big thank you, to every one here.secondly, My husband love's his kids,he only wants the best for them(only that the boarding school suggestion was a big mistake).And lastly I had a talk with him last night about the issue, which he saw reasons with me and he finally agreed that none of his kids will attend a boarding school.so am saying a big thank you to every one again because : I almost gave up
