Thanks JustMellow,

I just called one of the clinic in Florida, and it was too expensive. I was told it will cost me $600.

I was wondering if I should send a message to CIC, that I have been in US for more than 6 months in the last 1 year.

Will this be a good idea? Maybe medical report could be exempted for me.

Yes its a good idea to contact them either by mail or call but call will be faster and better. if sending the mail using a catching subject like "Urgent - Medical Request" then attached a screen shot of the medical request page with a detailed body message explaining your case, do well to also send via IRCC web form.

Your got the medical request because you applied in Nigeria(I guess), if it was within US you'd applied, you wouldn't have been sent a medical request. Also, given to the fact that you've stayed in the US for more than 6 months, you're clearly exempted for medicals.

BTW try contacting them and be fast about it, as you've got within 30days to comply to the request.

Thank you very much i realy appreciate this.
As per the payment of school fees, the refund policy is not favourable to me ( university of regina) thats why am not paying yet till i get my Trv
Arrangement has been made for my pastor to deposit 4m to my account and i have been worshiping with the church for over 9 years as the lead keyboardist and also teaches members how to play the instrument, he is just supporting me when i needed it most.
I will work on getting most of the documents you mentioned, thanks a lot

I need more comments please.

In your SOP likewise your sponsor's letter(not your cosponsor), address the stated bolded point as reason for not paying you tuition fees and that its safe in your sponsor's account or if possible get your sponsor to transfer your first semester tuition fees into your personal SOA in addition to your LE transferred by your cosponsor which also should be addressed in similar manner.

Your sponsorship aspect looks good.

Although little things count but then that’s not the priority of the VO as regards your address.

What program are you going for?

Good.

The academic progression looks good as well.

And lastly, what’s your age bracket and was/is there any study gap. Although it looks as if there isn’t but then if there is, talk about what you have been doing.

Finally, may the God you serve see you through.

Submit early to get positive results as well and if you feel there’s any other thing you wish to add to buttress your points for successful application pls do.

smiley

This shouldn't be up for debate. Head down to the nearest high court. Lastly, the absence of one doesn't mean a visa refusal though.

Okay guys. I have avoided this thread because of my busy schedules, but have been extremely active on the US Student visa thread. But since I am free now, I can guide you on writing the right, program-based essays, and your crucial-to-visa-issuance SOP. Not always free, but I can help and drop tips here now and then.

I wish all of you good news on your visa application.

I'm sorry I'm just getting to respond to this. Mine is (or was) a reapplication. Classes begin May 6.

But strangely, my passport which I submitted 3 weeks ago hasn't been dispatched or returned yet.

Anyone with an idea of what might be done to speed up the process? My flight is booked for April 30th. Wishing every TRV hopeful good news soon.

Hi Nairaland fam,

Happy Easter!!!

TRV UPDATE 21/04/2019

Nothing much has changed since the last update... We have a sample of 47 hopefuls but i still want to encourage those that have not shared their timeline to please do. Let us contribute to this wonderful thread as we have benefited from it. This is the only way the thread can grow. For those that have submitted their timeline but haven't shared all the information we need, please help in sharing the full details (especially school resumption month and whether or not your application is new). In particular, we still need information on school resumption date and application type (new or re) from the following people; Dedecoder, Godatwork23, Oni2019, docsaj, Cutieflaky, Klem28, Udomas, Ancy 26, Omarzx, umulobi, and Iykedpetes.

Also, if anyone has received an update (i.e. medical requests, eligibility, etc), please share.

Also, if you guys have any ideas on how we can present this information better or what else we can add to it or remove from it, I am always open any adjustment that'll make this better.
