Hello guys I would be 24 in August. I really want to further my education more. I got my National Diploma in 2016 with Lower credit but I went to hustle instead of furthering more. Now I don't want to go to polytechnic, I want get my degree.

My plan is to go for Msc abroad after getting my degree. I am contemplating on 3 options now.

1. thinking of going to private university in Benin Rep (it's an accredited uni) because of their fast programme.

2. Or do DE to a university in Nigeria.

3. Or forget about getting degree..

Can I go for Masters in America or Europe with a Benin Rep degree? And which university can I go for DE with Lower credit in Nigeria (even a private uni?). Please I am getting depressed on this, I am regretting my late decision but I am the one sponsoring myself so hustle first.
Please I need a serious advice, this is my future..
Am I too old for all these?

Don't even think of giving up. You're not old at all, you will understand this when are you visit the university. You'll find those older than you. Check departments like law, medicine and others. You may even find those that are old enough to give birth to you.
Fulfilment should be your drive. I'm in your shoes too (even older than you), but I'm not going to give up, I'll keep trying until I get what I want.
Concerning your admission, you can try the three options. Consider writing another utme too.

That was how a foolish 23 OND girl refused to come back for hnd, saying she's getting old and want to get married...

bro, go for DE and then masters.
But make sure you're not just all about book when you return to school. Keep in touch with the real world and woqk if you can...coz at the end its about what you can do. Certificate is gold ONLY when there are great skills to back it up

good answer....NO.YOU ARE NOT TOO OLD.

I was 31 when I got my masters. I even had classmates who were older than me self.

Just get your degree...and hammer with it. Anyone making fun of you does not have sense.

Or what do you call the oldest law graduate at University of Ile Ife...who went to law school at 69 years old...and graduated three years later with BSc Law at 72? The man was older than most of his professors self.

I also read about a guy who dropped out of school at 14 to become an apprentice mechanic. At 28 , he went back to school....got SSCE equivalent at 31, got a diploma from a polytechnic, then went to unviersity , got BSc, then went abroad and got Masters. (Read it in a SUN newspaper article from 2012).

If you have enough money, don't school in Nigeria! I repeat don't school in Nigeria!! See if you can get admission into a Canadian college for a diploma course that is affiliated with a canadian university. After your diploma program, you will start from 3rd year in the university en route BSC degree in the affiliated university. Diploma courses in Canada are quite cheap. Besides you get 3 yr work visa and can upgrad your status to permanent

Hustle and get reasonable money first before thinking of going back to school.

" Life is not fair" is not available in any university syllabus

Since you intend going abroad for your MSc, the best option is a DE into a federal university preferably a four-year program. Going to Benin Republic isn't a better option considering your MSc plans.

When you get admitted through DE, do your very best and if possible graduate with a first class. It will afford you opportunities for scholarships and its likes.

BTW, you're not old. Ayodele Dada graduated at the age of 29 and is currently a Knight-Hennessy scholar at Stanford University. Yet another reason why you should aim to finish with a first class.

If i were you, I’d go for option 1. At 24, you’re still young to further your education
