If Conte was so good, why didn't he replicate his first season success in the 2nd season? He even spent 300m on that title winning squad. If we had clinical strikers he’d be topping the assist chart. Remember the number of goals Ibrahimovic lost in his first season?

Pogba is the only quality midfielder we have. It’s just bad that he isn’t agile all the time. He scored 2 against City at the Etihad last season FFS. We need good CMs to partner him in midfield, and if the attack is sharp there will be reduced pressure on him to always deliver.

We should think of using great talents to replace the old guys, not using Perreira to replace Fellaini. Both are average but one is far more experienced than the other.

On point. What PP needs is a good midfield pair. Just imagine if we pair him with someone like blaise Matuidi and Erikson in that midfield
