Hello everyone. A friend wasn't sure of a particular questions so I thought of asking here due to the intellectual minds we have here.

This is the question:
Applicants who are native English speakers are exempted from these test requirements. IELTS and TOEFL. Also, applicants who can document English proficiency at an equivalent level may contact the institution's International Admission Office to determine if their English level is sufficient.

He wants to know what the school he choose meant by the question above. Does it means he can get a letter of proficiency in English from his school here in Nigeria?

Thanks in anticipation.

Guys pls is this certification okay it's done at HighCourt in Owerri, but the problem I have here is that after scanning the certified documents, the writings on the stamp don't show well and as a result, not readable. I'm concerned cos it's only the writings on the stamp that tells the reader that d certification was done at HighCourt...
Pls gurus I need advice ASAP

How's the school like? I'm coming in winter. Got admitted already.
And are there jobs? Are you in Munich town or freising?
How's it like getting accommodation too?
1. Uhmmm, it all depends on the type of job, but you should be able to find something to keep body and soul going.
2. My campus is in Garching, but I live in Munich (Its just 40 minutes away by train (which the semester ticket covers)
3. Accommodation is one of the problems we have in Munich, so I'll advise you apply as soon as you can to studentenwerk. Try contacting some Nigerians here and check online too on wg 'gesucht', but do not pay for a room without proper verification as there are a lot of scammers out there.

Sorry for the bad news. Please, did you pay semester fee before enrollment? I’m also waiting for visa. Did my interview ending of March.
DrND:

Finally got a call today from DHL that they have a package for me. Immediately I knew it was the embassy and it was a denial.

The reasons they gave was that the purpose of travel is no more tenable because the enrollment deadline has passed. see attached.

My first enrollment deadline was 29th March. Interview was done 20th February.
I requested for enrollment extension and got 12th April which I sent to the embassy.
I even went ahead to enroll in proxy got the enrollment certificate and also sent that to the embassy. But still they denied me based on that after delaying my application for weeks. So what happened to all those emails I sent to them about enrollment extension and certificate.

Well I need to book interview asap for winter semester since I have offer already from Aachen.

I hope they respond to you soon coz I understand how you feel.

So,

I have been thinking about how to make it easier for everyone to refer to posts that made the most impact without having to ask the same question over and over again. In my view, the posts that make the most impact will generate the most "likes" since it means it resonated with the readers. However, these posts are scattered throughout the pages in the thread, which kind of makes it hard to get to them one by one.

As my way of doing something about it, I wrote a script that scrapes through the data on the thread, collates the (50) posts with the most "likes", and writes it to a PDF file.

I have attached the PDF file here.

NB: This is not a particularly clean solution as you would see that some of the results are just appreciation posts. That also means that if a post is useful to you, "like" it. That's the only way to ensure purely 'appreciation' posts don't make it to the top. If you have a better idea, share sha. Peace.

Quick update: Added the page numbers of the respective posts

Alright thanks so much dear. Hope you don't mind me plenty questions. This information is priceless.
About the job, is it possible to get a part-time job that will keep body and soul going for €1000 a month? And are there any special application process or places people register for job updates, availability etc? And how heavy is tax?

Then for accommodation, is it best and cheaper to live in the outskirt like garching or freising and come to work Or school in Munich? My campus is in Munich

And please hope you don't mind if I contact you too when I get stuck? cheesy

The problem might even be with your SL. The alien office would have communicated that to the embassy but the embassy will just be "lazy" informing you. I have seen cases like that.

Try to also visit the embassy with the mails from the alien office since they are not replying you.
