2sexycom:
ogbeni, use sedo, epik or undeveloped... Haba.

An offer of $199 came from domainagents. They did not reveal the buyer to me. I told them that the name is registered at netsol and under 60 days lock, that they should request for a push. Once they get the name they can pay me. Them no even send me.

I'm sorry oo. I'm a newbie just asking

According to them(domainagent), they only use escrow to transact and do not want other options.

Buyer said they use only Escrow.com for all their transactions.

But wait o 2sexycom when did Escrow delist Nigeria again. I remember when you "singlehandedly" made them start working with Nigeria.

if you're not in a hurry to sell, use undeveloped landing page and put your buy it now @ $500. Watch out what will happen in few days time except if they're not serious buyers. Don't bother replying those agents again.

Thanks boss. The name was already listed at undeveloped for $250 before outbounding with no reply. Days later I got the offer from domainagents.
My BIN now will be $500. Thanks for the reply.

I like to trade. I think that trade business will always be a good opportunity to earn money. You can find some cheap local producers of any goods and sell it through internet. Buyers will always be there

Thanks Treasure. On a scale of 1 - 100 (with 100 being the maximum), what should be the minimal figure for a competitive keyword?

BuyGolfCars.com
Purchased : $6.99 namesilo
Sold: $500
Hold time: 1 month although the buyer showed interest 24hrs after registration. But after several follow ups, he told me he had tried making payment 3 times with his Amex (American Express) through undeveloped but Amex told him it is a fraudulent transaction. I quickly changed my namesavers to namesilo and told him to try this last time, and viola, transaction was successful.
Guess the issue is undeveloped. Know of two guys with the same issue.

i think i have to write to simon concerning this AMEX card issues because i have had same situations... just imagine the sales you might have lost due to this issues and the buyer didn't know how to contact you. i think if we take our time to write to them , then they might solve this issues.

Someone on namepros just sent me this.

You have mentioned about AMEX issue with Undeveloped.

I have something to share which may help you for future sales.

Undeveloped doesn't accepts AMEX card. When buyer agrees to the price, I send below format :

Format :
************************************************************************
Domain can be purchased from http://DomainName.com
Payment options available : PayPal, Visa Card, Master Card

Feel free to let us know if you want to use other payment options or have any queries regarding the acquisition process.
************************************************************************

When I face this issue, I ask buyer to buy from GoDaddy.

I hope this may help you.

Thats why they have to try to accept it.. imagine a buyer wants to purchase your domain at BIN, then he receive a fraudulent warning.

Sold:

Dallas//event//photographers//com for $200

Sent out some emails to potential end-users and I got a reply from the buyer, indicating his interest in the domain. I quoted $350 then he went silent.

But from the streak I was using to track my outbound mails, I saw him opening the mails almost every 6 hours (guess he was contemplating).

After about 1 week, he messaged me, asking for me to consider $200. I turned it down, but shifted a little to $300.

Then he went silent again. Since I wasn't getting any new lead, I messaged him after 10 days that he should pay the $200.

He replied almost instantly that he was designing the logo for the domain name, that was why it took long for him to reply. I was seriously pained that I lost $100 for being too hasty (well, we all learn everyday).

I asked him when he will pay, but he replied that he was out of fund and will pay after he receive a gig.

All this dragged on for over 1 month. I was on the brink on giving up when he messaged me for the whole process.

Sold new//homes//near//me//com for $1980.

This was via afternic. Listed it on undeveloped for $599 (which was the landing page) but buyer went for the higher price on afternic

Bought $1 via networksolutions
Hold time was 4 months

I don't really like Afternic delay in terms of payment. Unlike undeveloped that pay you within 24 or 48 hours, it took almost 2 weeks to receive my payment.

But I'm happy the buyer didn't pay the $599 that I had on undeveloped.

Got $1584 after the 20% deduction

Thanks for reading

PS. I choose the option to receive naira into my account, but afternic cheated me badly with the exchange rate. They exchange @339.7 (terrible). Please don't ever choose that option. Choose your naira straight up.
