People hardly talks about Redmi 7. Even on Xiaomi fb and twitter handles, they hardly put up an advert, comment or promo about the Redmi 7. Is it dt the phone is bad, have no selling point or people don't just appreciate the phone? I really want to find out, before I end up buying a phone neglected by even the manufacturer.

Redmi 7 is a great device for the price. If you consider what the Redmi 6 offers, it is a huge upgrade. It is just that people feel they can add a few quids and get the RN7. The R7 is not a bad device at all... I just got one for my dad. Expecting it next week. If you are planning to buy it, I'll say go right ahead... It is a huge upgrade from the Redmi 6. It all boils down to the cash at hand and what you can afford.

My device came through after a very long wait... ordered through Nobody.
Used the device for two days now and the performance has been good, I actually prefer to the default camera to all the gcam I have downloaded except I haven't downloaded the best.
This phone is a pool don't even know where to start to fetch from, I shall get there anyways.

The only thing I am not happy with right now is getting to answer too many questions from people "what's the name" "how much you buy am" seriously I am tired.

When they ask me how much did I buy the phone. I simply tell them , it my girlfriend that bought it for me .

That engineer must be a quack. You still have hope. For me the first thing to do will be to service the panel to get the water out of the components totally, then move on from there.

The phone has been fixed, took it to another guy that I know was good and after explaining all that transpired. He dismantled the phone cleaned and dried it and vola it works with all my data intact.

See me wey don dey think how to import charging panels.

well personally, I'll go with Redmi 7, it will have further development and you can root it too, but X5 is mad too, camera is not bad and that SoC does surprisingly well plus android one... Well what do you like in a phone lets start from there?
