Please somebody is trying to sell a used 1.8m dish with Jack and positioned for me at 30k is it a fair price? what questions do I need to ask to be sure I'm not being ripped off? quick response will be deeply appreciated. Thanks

First, I think it's a fair price if they are brand new but unfair price if they are used ones. I assume the 1.8m is pan, that is about 15k. Positioner is not up to 10k and Jack depends on the size. Heavy duty jack is around 12k, smaller ones are cheaper. Prices depends on your location though.

For questions you need to ask: They should come from your eyes. Make sure the dish doesn't have bends, and the jack is moving free. If the positioner moves the jack that means it's OK. But you need to know the size of the jack because that determines the price.

In my area it is too expensive been that they are used set of satellite gadgets. In my area new 1.8m is about 12-14k, jack 12/13, positioner 2-4k. Second hand 1.8m cost between 5-7k. Use this prices to decide how much you can offer. Chinedu has given a better guide, so you decide.

I wouldn't know if you can get both on the same 60cm dish, however, I am watching just TSTV on my 90cm dish and it's okay for me.
