Watching GoT a second time from Season 1 to 7 before they started Season 8, I discovered there were
not really much sex scenes but mainly nudity and most of it was even in Season 1 by the time you get to Season 2 and 3, most of it had died down. You won't even realize this as your focus would be more on how Joffrey is wicked, Danaery's rise from zero soldier to an army and three mighty dragons, how loyalty and honour of the Stark family members ended up getting them killed etc.

G.o.t was written by one of the most brilliant minds the world has produced & if you are intelligent enough,you would learn quite a lot from it's mind-blowing storyline & characters. I started out from the book and have been a big fan of George.r martins ever since. From how the paralysing fear & control the mad king inspired couldn't stop a rebellion from rising. To how the excellent moral codes the Stark's practiced often brought them to ruin. To how a former fringe character like littefinger rose to prominence through playing the perfect courtier,by mastering the act of indirection, flattery,yeilding to Superiors but still asserting power over others in the most oblique and graceful manner. King stannis was so rigid,he couldn't adapt or bend,so he broke! To how the quest for revenge often leads to an endless cycle of more loss & despair as could be seen from following the story of the martels of dorn. How change is constant & how weakness can be transformed into a bastion of power,as could be noticed in the lives of characters like Arya,Sansa,Tyrion,the iron queen,bran & even James Lannister when he lost his hand e.t.c. The story of John snow, from a bastard to a king,tell's a lot about how the circumstances of one's birth isn't a hindrance to success. I learnt & observed all of these and many more from reading & watching too... And the sex scene's you talk about,i can't even remember, because they weren't as important as the lessons learned. The kind of people we are within,is always reflected in the kind of things our minds are attracted to. If your mind is polluted with sex,then that's the only thing your mind is capable of seeing & look out for in every giving situation,regardless of wether you condemn it or not. And if you have an insatiable hunger for learning,then that's what you would do,see & look out for in every opportunity you get. That's why everybody looks, but sees differently.
