@DrStrangeLove

Hospital/facility, city, state and costs bleeped out? Okay sir....

And now you talk of helping for a fee attaching your phone number. And you expect that post above to stand by the time Mod @Justwise gets to see it? Not a chance!

Once more, congratulations on your successful interview and visa renewal.

Good evening everyone. Thanks for the great work on this thread, it's been helpful to many. I plan to travel to Houston soon for my second missionary journey and I'll taking my daughter along. Pls what docs am I required to present for her? I hear I need an authorisation letter since my husband isn't travelling with me. I also heard I may need to present her immunisation records. Pls who can confirm or has any info on this? Pls help. Many thanks.

P.S: My daughter was born in the US.

Good Evening People,

I have gone through the thread extensively and was wondering if anyone that used doctores has been able to renew their visas.

Also, if you by chance used Sierra Providence Healthcare in El Paso, please let me know if you have been able to renew with the zero balance letter.

Thank you

I think we all should give USA a long rest for now and save our money or put it to better use.
I was at the embassy some days back and a lot of people had gone before me, no one was given Visa, not even the elderly . I sincerely don't know what's happening.
My experience with a black American woman VO, I applied with hubby and son.

We: Good morning
VO: Good morning, can I have your passports.
Me: *hands it over
VO. Why do you want to go to the US
Hubby: for Vacation and childbirth
VO: where do you work?
Hubby: I work for a multinational company called ****** and I also have investment and run 2 of my own companies.
VO: asks me also
Me: I run my business it is a ***** company
We were bringing our documents out to show her company registration and letters and bank statements of each company (of which we had thousands of dollars in one of our bank statement) and personal bank statement
VO: don't give me any documents, I didn't ask for them, when I want I will ask for it. *Then she asks hubby* where have u travelled to?...
Hubby: Uk twice I was there just last month, Italy, France, Netherlands.
Me: *( I have not had time to travel, work, baby etc)* I have not travelled before, not really had d time for a vacation.
VO: * typing on her computer* where do you plan to go.
Hubby: Texas we have a doctor's appointment from the women's ****
VO. *Cuts him short, raising her hand* It's ok...... * Typing long on her computer
My son was even playing with her and repeating most of the things she was saying and we were smiling and laughing including herself.
Then she hands over the yellow slip, telling us
Vo: I'm sorry u are not eligible for the Visa, u can read about it on the paper, thank u
Me and hubby were shocked, she refused to check our documents, I had a budget sheet of 19k dollars, wch I was willing to spend because of renewal denial rate, ( I had saved enough to spend that amount) I was so weak and perplexed.. after being on d queue for so long preparing everything, we had about 4 bank statement loaded... She refused to see any....
It is well.... I just think we should stop pumping the USA with our hard earned money or better still anyone denied Visa should be refunded afterall, it's called "Visa fee", y pay money when you won't get the visa.

I chose Texas because that's were I have family and relative that while have helped me out while I'm there. It's really not an easy thing going somewhere u have no one to direct or help out with logistics and a new baby .

I don't think Texas is the best option anymore. Look at the past 30 pages of this thread and see that a lot of people going to Texas are getting denied. It's not a coincidence that the last question she asked was about state before denial

I think mothers should try different states: Oklahoma, Louisiana, Florida, New Hampshire etc

Sorry about your refusal, getting a us a visa these days is almost impossible, have been refused thrice, despite being to America over 4 times on two visas.
The US embassy Abuja had a live chat on Facebook a few weeks back where various questions bothering Nigerians where answered by the consulates and the issue of visa fee refund after a refusal was tackled . They indirectly stated that the visa is free, the fee paid is actually used for the application process of the visa, So it’s an Application fee. For that reason a refund after refusal is not possible.

Tbh I was very very scared the day I attended my interview, Everyone came out with a pink paper I was saying to myself eh God what will happen to me but it didn’t seem like the vendetta was on those who went to birth, it was both young old and middle aged, I was on the queue for some time and saw just four people walking out with the white paper cry (yes I was counting) even for those who came out with a file I was peeping to see grin . But I won’t lie the crowd in the embassy compared to a few years ago has tripled

I didn’t birth, they thought I went to birth because she asked and I see no reason for that if she didn’t think so
