Please my fellow engineers in the house I need a help on something, I applied to some schools but found out their AL comes quite late. Pls I need to apply to other universities that their AL comes on time so I can be able to meet up with the visa appointment.
I need a list of schools that offer MSC in Mechanical, Production, Mechatronics or industrial engineering that accepts letter of English Proficiency, I really find it hard getting these info online.

Here's what I think about the whole visa appointment kerfuffle. Anyone with an admission letter belongs to Category A. Because it involves fulfilling at least one of many criteria and one criterion is this:

holding a bachelor's degree with a grade of 1. Class - 2. Lower Class and being accepted for a master's degree (also a DSH course-related admission to the master's program) or PhD study in Germany

Category B is just for hopeful candidates still waiting on admission and are, to the German consulate, not fully committed yet. That's why it's clearly stated that Category B will be given an appointment date 2 to 3 months before the date.

The only reason that the Category A currently seems to require a scholarship is probably because they are now only dealing with summer 2019 applicants who have scholarships and ignoring everyone else. In the old system, appointment requests by students with scholarships are usually honored even after visa appointments are no longer available.
Perhaps when the time is right (probably July, like someone was told by email recently, or earlier if they change their minds) then Category A will have options for everyone and u might probably need to show proofs of admission before being able to book though.

Anyway, this is just a conjecture. In the end until we get an unequivocal statement from a veritable authority, we can only continue to speculate.

I perfectly concur with your analysis.

There's a form u need to download scan and attach to your application. Check from the course website on TU Dresden. Unfortunately there are two versions of the forms, one on uni-assit application a different one on the course's website according to the aptitude assessment regulation of February 27, 2018 and according to the aptitude assessment regulation of March 14, 2018. I advise u fill, scan and upload both copies

I sent you a pm. I can't find the form on their site, can you please send me the forms if you still have it?

Your VPD could have been sent to your mail and documents has also sent to the school you applied to for further process. Just been expecting final decision from the school, Uni-assist has done their part.

Re: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 6 by Onaco: 3:21pm On May 08, 2019
All the application processes are basically online save for the application form that is generated after application that needs to be sent as a hard copy. You do not need to certify your documents, just scan them and upload.

I applied also forthe same course (although, I only need it for visa processing, its MSC that I am going for) since 04/04/2019 and the last processing they did on it was 15/04/2019.

Also still reading "In progress"

You might need to click on the > icon to see if there is any information waiting for you there.
Sometimes, they will ask you to upload the documents you used to get your VPD, So you will upload the same set of documents you sent to Uniasist (WEAC, transcript etc)

If not all these, just relax then.
I also applied thinking they do processing fast.
Cheers

Please my chairman... I applied to the same school although just forwarded my documents to uniasist...About this aptitude assessment regulation, I didn't see anything as such during my application... But according to what you said, I need to download, scan and attach it to my application.... I checked my course website (Advanced Computational and Civil Engineering Structural Studies (ACCESS) )... And I couldn't find "according to the aptitude assessment regulation of February 27, 2018 and according to the aptitude assessment regulation of March 14, 2018 " to download... Please as someone that has done it before can you just check and tell me the particular one to download... I will so much appreciate Boss...I await ur response.
