2-3 months was clearly stated in category A too[/quote

They don't expect who has not gotten admission to apply tru any of the categories. If u check both categories required resumption date of prospective student...
Therefore, say category A is for those who has gotten admission alone is not correct.

Please, who has any idea how much it cost to learn A1 German in Lagos

If figures haven't changed at Goethe institute,
A1 registration is N55k. Then the exam is N12k.

But if u come as an external student and feel u can blast the exam without classes, they will take N20k from u to write the exam

I think for those without a scholarship or an Abuja residents address, there is no need to go near A. You'd be required to tick a box for either of these otherwise, the form won't be accepted for submission. So it's safer to just go with B.
I even ticked Abuja the form no grey say I must tick scholarship so it's for scholarship people be guided

I believe it should be A.

All applicants who fulfill one of the following criteria can register with the “A - list”:

1. holding a TestAS certificate with a standard score of 100 - 130
2. holding a very good B-1 language certificate from the Goethe Institute (90 points and more) or
3. holding a good B-2 language certificate from the Goethe Institute (80 points or more) or
4. holding a bachelor's degree with a grade of 1. Class - 2. Lower Class and being accepted for a master's degree (also a DSH course-related admission to the master's program) or PhD study in Germany or
5. holding a scholarship from a German institution for a study or a PhD in Germany or
6. holding a signed “Aufnahmevereinbarung” / hosting agreement concerning your research fellowship with a university or research institute accepted by the “BAMF”

You only have to fulfill one of these requirements and No. 4 applies

Sincerely its confusing. Everyone believes its A but the form requires you to click on "Scholarship".
I believe they had issues translating the page into English and will only correct it after series of mails.

I have just mailed them through the contact form to clarify where we belong and simultaneously I have applied through the B category pending when I would get their response.
