plz help, i need plugs for my car but am scared of buying the fake one because of my past experience with Ngk plugs. Tokumbo / belgium or new Plug which one is better to use

Every car engine has a specific spark plug number you are supposed to buy. When you buy original plug not meant for your engine then you will still have issues, sparkplugs is not synonymous to "All sizes fit"

To know your recommended sparkplugs

Most Toyotas and some brands have the specific type when you open the bonnet it would be clearly written on a parchment iridium, chromium etc with the type twin tip, copper plated etc.

You can also remove one of the plugs and read the inscription on it, the replacement should be exact example NGK iridium spark plug k45612

Next is information available from the manufacturer and forums these information are available in owners manual, manufacturer website or specific brand forums which can also give details of other brands of sparkplugs that are alternative to the recommended one

New is good only if you can get the original, if not go for tokunbo.

New Original spark plugs are available , if you can afford it , go for it

So you may wish to rephrase , because there are original spark plugs and there are sub standard.

Oga if you have money or if you want to enjoy your car buy original iridium spark plugs. If you can, come to auto parts trade fair I'll help you get the original. My car is more than 15 years but I still buy original parts for it and it has been serving me well. There are some things you shouldn't buy tokunbo

Speaking from 15 years driving experience

Looks like the ubiquitous kazeem has played a fast one on you like he does on virtually everyone. I used to believe every bullshit from kazeem particularly the bunkum that anything tokumbo is always better than new. This is only true if the new is substandard (alias chinko) and the tokumbo is fairly used of a premium product. But you are on your own if the tokumbo is itself substandard when it was new or if the original premium has seen better days. The problem with tokumbo parts is you can hardly tell the good from the bad. My advice to OP is go for good quality new parts as specified for his car by the manufacturer.

Sparkplugs should be bought new not tokunbo, it degrades overtime so a used can fail in a week or months which you can't determine.
