Empire Nigeria update
I went for the "interview" today and it wasn't an interview. It was a seminar. Empire Nigeria is a subsidiary of CFLEAD.


I got to the location (Plot 1A Block B8, CMD jubilee road beside Magodo Brooks Estate North Gate, Magodo Lagos) late. It said to come by 10am but I got there by 10:59am.

While I got there, a lady was giving a talk. She seemed to be shouting but when I entered inside, she was taking a video break.

The video break involved us listening to audio recording from Bishop David Oyedepo about the keys to success. We watched and listened for about 20 minutes and the lady came back to give us their vitamins.
Vitamin A for Action (she told us to repeat after her which we all did)
Vitamin B for Boldness
Vitamin C for … (I don forget)
Vitamin D for Determination
Vitamin E for Enthusiasm.



After she gave us the vitamins and what that they meant, she passed the baton on to some other guy.

I can't remember his name. He however talked to us for a long time. We were told that he was the one to make the selection.

He told us that he joined the partnership in 2014. He is a graduate of Physics from OAU Ile-Ife and got his M.Sc. Medical Physics from a Texan university.

He told us how his first job only paid him ₦50,000 (before he did his masters) and his second job (after masters) paid him ₦85,000.

He never really got to tell us the nitty-gritty of what the partnership does while I was there but from what I gathered from his talk, it had to do with going to various organisations and giving talks (of which he called business consultancy).

He told us that there are various levels in the system. They are the:
1. Local
2. International
3. Presidential
4. Shareholder.
He said the local takes about 1 month to complete but if you are dull will take at most 3 months.

He also mentioned that he is at the International level and has been to several countries for training because of it.

He proceeded to show us pictures of his time in Abu-Dhabi and Mauritius and said he would be going to Prague next year.

He said last month he took home ₦500,000 as his earnings.

He said as a local, there are three levels to it and there are incentives as well. He however reiterated that it was an incentive for encouragement, not because it is your right. The incentive was ₦40,000 at the lowest level.

He was quite motivating though. He talked about taking your own destiny in your hands instead of looking for a job. He said we have to be entrepreneurial to be able to afford a meaningful life.

He even went round to ask questions like how much each of us earn and the highest was a girl who worked for her family and earned an irregular salary of ₦150,000.

Most people were earning from between ₦25,000 - ₦50,000 and some have been working for over 5 years.

After all the motivation, he came down to telling us how we can earn our right in the company and it involved us paying ₦40,000.

₦5,000 of the money would be used for the registration, and ID card while the remaining ₦35,000 will be used for training materials for us.

He said it was important we do this because it is something that gives us a right to a place in the system. A place we can pass on to our kids.

After all the talk, he wanted to know which of us had the guts to forge ahead and it we did we should jump up with vigour (something like that). Me, I took my time to stand up, of which made them to single me out.Oh, the time was about past 3pm.

I got outside and was asked why. I said I took my time. Then they asked if I thought there was something I have that I could contribute to the organisation and I said no.

I was then told to sign out and I bade them goodbye.

[center]My Thoughts on the Experience[/center]
1. Whenever I get any email for an interview that looks remotely like this:


It is CFLEAD

2. I don’t really know what they do. It was implied that they give talks but I am not really sure.

3. Okay, let’s say they give talks, how do they secure the contracts? I do know that they bill each company/organisation based on their staff strength but who goes out to secure these contracts.

4. Why do we have to pay to join an organisation/partnership that is able to sponsor its members on trips abroad?

5. For an organisation that is so successful, why is their marketing subpar? Why aren’t they as famous as most consultancy firms like KPMG and McKinsey? After all, we were told by the guy that he met a 3rd generation partner in one of his travels abroad.

6. If you are looking to get motivated and inspired for free, CFLEAD recruitment seminar is the place to go. Listening to them talk makes you reflect and think about the direction in which your life is headed. To which I will be grateful for.

They are great at motivating you to take charge of your life. However, what I see them as is an MLM masquerading itself as something else.

If you are keen on that type of stuff, good for you. If not, keep searching.

I didn't go again. I found out that from Nairaland that is a scam. The address has been used several times and I was sent another invitation with that same address but with iLead as the company inviting me for an interview on Tuesday.

Jobberman are now aware sha. They said people have been complaining so they sent a general notification to all job seekers.

I was scared at first though, it almost look like some of those, but my spirit pushed me to Wait and go through the interview, they are legit and real, though they don't take nonsense, but I am grateful I went.... Please can u guys stop concluding and criticizing and just assuming, I think it has made lots of people lose opportunities and hope. If u get an invite from that company trust me u can attend. Its a video they will play for you, just to ginger and inspire you. Not really an interview per say, after the video comes a talk from one of heir representative then a form will be handed over to you to pay N7k. SMH

The truth as been said, what they do is to keep you seated for hours with there innovative speech and talks. They will invite people for interview getting there it will turn to brainwashing and extortion. Please let us be careful on were we seek for jobs may God provide us with fulfilling JOBS. Am talking base on my experience with them have been in there there office at Ilupeju for the interview stuff but getting there it wasn't interview so at the end when other people were paying the 7k i didn't, because it doesn't make any sense after all the sermon. education should make us smart does people are only playing on people's mind because of lack of jobs. I was called separately by there so called MD who is just under 30 years and she ask why I didn't pay and not showing interest i told her am not convinced and its doesn't make any sense for me to pay, she wanted to start another fake stories but when I ask some questions she just have to let me go away. Making some statements as if I will loose and regret for not participating in it. That was far back as 2016 but as am typing I got another another interview via zoom schedule for 23th of July 2020. So I feel I should make other people know about them

The post empire offers are business consultant, Team administrator, Admin manager and some other ones I can't remember, I am Corp member and I serve in their firm. So it's not a scam thanks

Those Empire Nigeria scammers got me today was sent an invite yesterday evening.and I called back the number to ask some questions but was not really convinced with her answer saying I will be an administrative manager of a department if I got selected.
I went there today putting my new white shirt and new trouser suit put my suit and tie in the bag picked some photo copies of my credentials.on getting there I sensed that something isn't wright and fishing some candidates dress like lout, some dressing anyhow..seeing old people uneducated ppl.omo I was disgraced while sitting. Then a small girl with a good voice and not really good English. Started addressing us, then shouting before going in to watch a video clip.another lady started her too shouting and screaming also, followed by one man who said he study PHYSICS master in us. Story about is Uncle who collected his CV for 7years and the uncle still remembered to tell him that they are still working on his CV.after all Sha they said we are to pay registration fees of 18500. using the motivational talk energy to also determined in my mind that I will not pay a dime.which I didn't.they really want to collect as small as 200naira I said I don't have .after giving me headache..they will call u out one by one outside to cajole you to pay..I sensed that they are scammers.just doesn't want to disgraced myself further by embarrassing myself infront of other ppl though.that why I sat patiently still end.


The mistake I made was I didn't google it yesterday.
