No i don't they charge at all, but for fiverr 2percent of every u received will be deducted.

If you are sure of a few hours of electricity everyday, get an inverter and power your lighting points, fans and 13amp sockets. Don't try to power your whole life through the inverter by powering fridges and freezers and ACs.

In my area we're sure of about 10-12 hours of electricity in a day. Combining that with the inverter, I have 247 electricity with everything except the fridge and freezer. The generator, well I think it still works but I will never know cuz its been over a year since i turned it on.

If you don't have good power supply, opt for combining the solar with the inverter.

I'm no inverter expert but I configured and installed my setup myself (DIY faithful). If you need professional advice and answers, I may not be able to help but here's a number to call or whatsapp 08067240665. He speaks inverters.

To tackle that challenge, I once thought of MTN/Lumos solar electricity. I went to MTN office at Ikeja to make inquiries.

From the info I gathered, you may make a one-time payment of N250k or 25k or so and renew it with about 5k monthly. You still make an installation payment of 2k.

Sincerely, I was ready to go by the second option until I was told that there was no guarantee it could power my TV (and it cannot power my fan either). I walked away at once .

Later, I spoke with some friends at Computer Village about laptop power bank, they told me it's a China-made product that you should never consider buying. Sadly, I ran out of options.

But what helps me greatly now is that I have two laptops and a 1.9HP generator. So, whenever I put my gen on, I charge the two laptops. When they run down, I charge them again.

Well, I work from my home. And in my street, Ikeja Electric rations our power...two days on, one day off.

My saving grace is that I write, so I don't spend time online. For some reason, the Internet drains devices' batteries.

However, I look forward to relocating to a part of Lagos with more stable power supply just to cut running cost. As it is now, there is no assurance of 12 hours power supply the days we are supposed to have power.

Generator has always been the saving grace since I started my freelancing journey.

I live in a part of Abuja where we can't boast of 12hours power supply and the saddening part is 2 minutes walk down my street, they enjoy steady power supply, at least 20 -22hours supply daily. I have a friend there, so I go to his place few times to charge my laptops.

I use two laptops to edit and produce audio podcasts for my clients and the laptops have a combined power of about 7hours.

There is also a 2.5KVa generator at home that I often use. I plan buying a UPS this month or next that has at least, 10hours battery juice.

I was using Ntel last year on wawu.

This year I am using Airtel.

Airtel 4G sim on 6month smartphone bonanza means I get 3.3gb for N1,000. So 12gb will amount to N4000.

I used to get 12gb for N1,000 on Ntel. Now, it is 6gb for N2,000 valid for 1 week on Ntel.

Heard about the Airtel 4g stuff. The limited time frame is just not so cool to me. I'm in Cross River and I don't think Ntel (is the wawu a tariff?) is available here else I would have definitely preferred it.

I use about 24-30gb monthly.

Oh boy! That's 8-10k monthly.

I just charge fuel under logistics...

Can these inverters power freezers??

Yes it can, I added a freezer to mine about 6months back(comes on 11am-5:30pm every day). Am still expanding it gradually, don't have enough resources for now.
Note, it is expensive initially but will pay for itself in less than 1.5 years. When people complain about power and they run gen every day, I just laugh and walk away, cos as a people, we have refused to use our brains. 3yrs down the line, the only regret is, I should have started earlier!

Light in my area is regulated at 5 or 6hrs intervals, so I charge my system whenever there's light, then again I do visit & charge in a friend's saloon.

I do not freelance, but this 3kW solar has kept me going 24/7 for nearly 2 yrs now

I reside in a state in SW where there seems to be 247 Power supply. As a full time freelancer, I'm good with the power supply here. Reason I relocated to this more favorable place.
