I wish to specially thank all the contributors of this thread, from the part 1 till date. I have hbeen folllowing since 2017, I wrote my IELTS last year and managed 7.5 in L & S and then 7 & 6.5 in R & W respectively. With the info I got here last year, I am on the verge of completing my PGD with NOUN. With the way things are, if my wife can get an 8,7,7,7 in LSWR, we would be good to go.

I wish to kindly request for assistance from any kid hearted person, in coaching her between now till September as I am looking at enrolling her for IELTS in September, 2019. I would also appreciate IELTS study materials, if they can be forwarded to my mail box iimuetinyan@gmail.com.

I understand there is a differnce between adoption and legal guardianship.

Is the latter acceptable for Canadian PR application?

It means that with 6.5, you did not meet the pass mark of 67 for selection eligibility.

We can't say for sure. This time last year, 440-442 was the new 433. Now, 450+ is the new 440. All we can do is work towards increasing points, hope and pray.

1. I intend to add my NYSC experience. I was an accountant. I will really appreciate getting a sample of a letter from someone that used accounting experience describing the accounting duties (under the correct NOC)

2. How do I prove the NySC allawee? My PPA paid in cash. Is using my nysc 19800 bank statement enough?

A colleague of mine who is also in the process of getting his credentials evaluatd by WES simply asked the school(UNIBEN) to reply the mail (at a small fee of course) but no courier was sent again to WES. This was some 4 weeks ago and he received a message this week that they'll send him the final evaluation on the 28th of this month. So I guess just an emai will suffice.

Less points because I don’t have Masters yet so using WES would have only given me the points for two or more Certificates as I was assessing both LLB and BL. IQAS on the other hand is better for those of us without Masters as it’s assessment gives us the points of a Masters Degree. Since you have Masters, am sure you are fine. [/quote]

i am having difficulty finding a suitable NOC. kindly help, below are duties under my Job description. My job designation is Programme Officer I

1. ensure that the agency programmes are properly implemented at the local government level by mobilizing and sensitizing people

2. generate feedback from the people on government polices and activities through dialogue and consultations with various individuals and groups

3. write reports on programmes carried out

4. carryout any other assignment that may be assigned

5. supervise and work with the various volunteers to excute set programmes.

Honestly I don’t know about that. You can check their site for more information. For the timeline, mine was approximately 6months from the application date.

So, I tried it again.

I assumed the valid job offer was if I am currently working.

But then, I think it means if I have a job offer already from a company in Canada. Which I don't.. So I unchecked that.

That leaves me with 471.

What are my chances?
