I know your frustrated, let me help you a bit with little advice.

First of all forget about your wife that abandoned you, she is probably bleeping other men and having good fun, while you're here fighting depression.

Stop drinking alcohol is not a solution.

That Kia Rio you wanted to buy with 350k loan, is not a solution. You will end up adding more frustration.

Set 2 years target for saving. But laziness will not allow you to achieve this.

Finally the problem is your age, at 40+ you're still at this level, only Jesus can rescue you. grin
I can see you are looking for attention which u have gotten, well I owe you no explanations.

But if you must know no wife left me I rather was the one that ask her to leave. I am not the first and won't be the last but if you have sense you will know it's rather unwise to mock people with things like these, for you infor I have a wife.
When I made that post that day I was joking, so save your Yeye advice.

And I will say it again you, your father and all your family members are the ones that are frustrated.

The signs of depression is still there. My broda is not my fault. Just focus and make more money you will get over it.

Thank you so much for telling us not to mind you. God bless you sir, more grace to you.
You work so much and earn so much, but you have all the time in the world to read all sections on Nairaland, really?
And you have enough time to respond to all quotes and mention of you and anyone that writes against your sentiments.
First of all, please change your moniker or create another account because a true "son of Jesus" or "Jesus's son" will not type in the manner that you do.

I know you will come for my head, I'll be waiting.
Oga dru23, maybe you could write on his behalf...

Tracker page: https://mymoto.com.ng/product/vehicle-car-pickup-commercial-trucks-gps-tracker-h02-tracker-nigerian-configured/
Office Location: 3-9 Olu Koleosho Street, Off Medical Road, Ikeja, Lagos

WHY DOES YOUR CAR NEED MYMOTO TRACKER

(1) Security: While anti-theft systems like push-buttons before car start, gear lock, pedal locks etc… are good, ONLY A TRACKING SYSTEM LIKE OURS ALLOWS YOU TO RECOVER (AND ALSO PROTECT) YOUR VEHICLE IF YOUR CAR IS HIJACKED FROM YOU WHILE DRIVING. Our trackers are both anti-theft and recovery in nature. e.g. You should shutdown your car before you sleep at night or park in a public space. Whenever you need to start the car, you enable it also.

(2) Remote Monitoring: GPS Security trackers allows you to monitor your vehicle location remotely from your phone. You are able to view your car’s location in real time (from our IOS/ANDROID APPS).

(3) Vehicle History: Through our online platform (IOS/ANDROID APPS) , you can view where your car had been between DAY X and DAY Y. A plot is shown on a map showing your car’s movement over this period of time.

(4) Remotely Stop Your Car: With our security GPS tracker, you are able to stop your car from ANY PHONE with an sms command. This function can also be carried out through our online platforms.

(5) Geo-Fencing Alarm:If your car goes beyond set a radius (or multi-point), say Lagos, you will be notified by sms.

(6) Other alarms (Over-speed Alarm, Ignition On Alarm, Low Battery Alarm ): Over-speed alarms notifies you via sms when your car goes beyond a particular speed. Ignition on notifies you WHENEVER your car is started. Low Battery Alarm lets you know when your car battery is low.

(7) Daily Mileage report (online platform): Daily mileage report shows you a daily chart (in KM) of your car.

We have heard of one or two expereience of how clients were able to recover their vehicles BECAUSE THEY HAD A TRACKER INSTALLED IN IT. We will be sharing some of them with you based on TRUE LIFE EXPERIENCES.

If you have had personal experiences also, kindly share with us.

WE STILL INSTALL THE MOST AFFORDABLE TRACKERS AROUND STARTING FROM 25K (VARIES WITH CAR MODEL).

CONTACT US ON 09032614208 OR 08060675824. More details on tracker: https://mymoto.com.ng/why-you-should-install-the-mymoto-security-tracker/

WE ARE THE ONLY COMPANY THAT OFFERS FREE LIFETIME ACCESS TO OUR ONLINE PLATFORMS FOR MONITORING/STOPpING YOUR CAR.

YOU'VE SPENT QUITE MUCH TO ACQUIRE YOUR CAR, SECURE IT WITH A TRACKER. BETTER TO BE SAFE THAN SORRY

Story 1
During one of our installs, the client shared with us how Mr Ayo (not his real name) borrowed his brothers car, and waylaid in the night somewhere in Lagos. Unknown to the thieves, the car had a tracker in it. That same night they tracked the vehicle to a military baracks (apparenntly the thieves had accomplices with military connections). They went with the police and they were able to recover the car (THE DEMOBILIZE FUNCTION OF THE TRACKER WAS USED TO ENSURE THE CAR DID NOT MOVE UNTIL THEY GOT TO THAT LOCATION)...

Story 2
Mr Bayo was bout entering his car in the night somewhere in Lagos when he was attacked. He immediately used his phone to demobilize the car some minutes after they had zoomed away with the car. The thieves ran away when they discovered the car wasn't strating again. The car was tracked to Ajah. Apparently the thieves ran away in fear with the keys of the car grin

I've been reading everyone's opinion on strikes and all that. But here's my take on the issue

IT CANNOT WORK. THE DAY IT WORKS, ITS OVER FOR E-HAILING IN THIS COUNTRY

Let us look at it from the App companies view

1) They have so many cars on the platform. Bolt has over 2000 cars registered. The only they can supposedly keep all of them in business is to get more rider. Yes, MORE RIDERS. And how can that be achieved? Low fares grin

2) The primary reason (I stand to be corrected) why a large number of people use uber and bolt is because IT IS CHEAP. Forget comfort that we all shout. Gbagada to Ikeja is like #1000. Even a bike or Danfo won't charge that for a charter. Some of the riders you pick have cars in their compounds, yet they request you, and yoh think it's comfort? Nah grin I don't think so

Imagine Uber and Bolt increasing the fare. A lot of us here won't do 20 trips in a month. Look at your ride history. It's filled with trips from #500 to #1500. Increase the fare and see all those people disappear

We live in a Third World, where the gap between the rich and poor is wide, and where the percentage of low income earners are far more higher than we can imagine

Uber/Taxify can only survive here if they make the middle class and low income earners a priority.

Very sound write up but a tad flawed. India and Nigeria are very similar..the issues we face in this country are faced in india hence economists love to do comparative analysis with both countries

Uber prices are cheap everywhere they establish. ,they thrive on comfortability and affordability but in Nigeria the fares are ridiculously cheap, so cheap that even some riders will pity drivers..I disagree that if fares are increased a bit rider will leave..alotta people take the trips not just because it's cheap but for convinence..personally I take it when I don't wanna drive not because of cost.

Yes fares must be kept at a low rate to ensure more riders board their services but not ridiculous as it is now...its ridiculously low bro..uber/taxify r exploiting the desperation of the Nigerian youth dats all grin

Quick question: If the fares were increased, would you still consider taking it? Or would you drive?

Ask yourself this question...The people who take uber to work, how were they going to that same work before uber came to Nigeria?

Festac to VI is #2000 to #2300. Raise it to #4000 and see those riders vanish. The ridiculously low fares is what is keeping uber, drivers and partners in business

People requesting for rides at the airport: Are airport cabs not convenient? Why are they requesting uber then?

From #2,300 to #4,000 is an exorbitant hike. A 20% rise would not be so felt by riders while drivers would be a bit more satisfied e.g a 3k trip rises to #3,600. But if they have good reasons not to raise the rate ATM, at least do other things like commission reduction, bonuses etc.

When uber started, Festac to vi was about 4k and riders were on the increase, nobody complained u til they slashed by 40%.

The red cabs where also available and were more expensive, majority of the people consider comfort before price, it's just now that you see plenty olosho's using it and their main concern is price.

I saw ur post where you're claiming you rented your car out and was looking for vehicle to rent, that driving someone else car will make you work harder. very lame and stupid excuse.

The problem is you have spent 3years driving Uber @ 40 no achievement, still on rental, you have nothing to offer. My senior Uber driver pls pack well. Young boys are taking over.

This is so off point. Prices were never 4000 from festac to VI. Why should it be now? That's not the kind of increase we are talking about. Maybe 20-25% increase from what we have now. Festac to VI should not be less than 3k.

This thing is called ride sharing for a reason. Not all of us want to drive all day and pick 10 riders before we make something reasonable. If na two trips at a reasonable price, then fine. Going by the logic of the business, nobody would share their rides with the current rate.

Its called ride sharing but we changed the narrative here in Nigeria. That's why Gazzuzz insists that it was rentals was never designed for it which is true

The aim was to share rides. But will a driver who's supposed to deliver 30k be fine with just two trips in a day? Let's work with reality

Corollas and camrys are littered everywhere and we still struggle for requests despite the horrible #500 minimum. And we still believe that if the fares are increased even by 2%, we will be fine?

Make we dey realistic Abeg

People have been taking airport cabs and yellow cabs (which were expensive) since forever. tell me bro, how were yellow cabbies making their monies..i remember how they used to do shakara untop dead rickety car ooo, yet you will beg dem to agree to carry you grin..do you know alotta does men have built their houses from driving yellow cabs before uber came? tell me who paid for their fares?

Bro when uber started, do you know how much the drivers and partners were making? im not saying that the fares should not be cheap but HABA shocked..this cheap?

Every sound business man tries to knock down price to build more clientele reach but these fares are ridiculous..very very ridiculous..if these fares are increase a little bit, trust me no rider will go anywhere...people love the comfort as well as the cheap fare but when taking okada or other uncomfy means of transport becomes more expensive than taking an aced car then i begin to worry.

its simply because the drivers are not together plus the high employment rate hence this expliotation by these companies..Nigeria is their goldmine..

Festac to VI can be 3300, is that too much to ask? even the 4k sef rider will go..abi how much airport cab wan take? iz better to do less than 20 trips in a month and make 100k than doing 100 trips in the same time frame and make same amount. atleast depreciation go slow.

More riders are on the platform because of awareness and adverts, I don't know of any that started taking uber only because of price, it's the convenience of sitting in your house and ordering against going to a taxi park.
