Have you know the reason of ur denials in ur previous application?what are the documents you took to the embassy?

Well, I read here that one shouldn't involve travel agents in applying for visa, so I have been doing it alone and I have been making mistakes since it's my first time applying. First one I applied for the wrong visa, the 2nd, I messed up with the OF11 form. Guess I'm learning my lesson in a wrong way

Just to be sure that you're referring to Slovenian, the language of a country that has only 2 million people and where lots of people speak some English because they have it in school.

I have been to Slovenia, it's a nice and a lovely small country with lots of very wonderful scenery (and very "white" as well), but Slovenian is a difficult language to learn, almost as difficult as Russian, and learning Slovenian is not going to take anyone anywhere internationally. The embassy officials know this.

I got a visa to attend a conference in France. I was given a one month visa(expiring 13th of June). My intended date of return was the 26th of May and i was told to report to the embassy on the 28th. But now, my plans have changed as i want to spend 3 more days before returning(way before my visa expiration btw). Is this going to pose a problem? Can I just go to the embassy after I have returned on a later date?

Hello everyone, making this enquiry for my sister.she's a bit confuse at the moment She was issued a French business visa last year, the embassy put the normal return back to the embassy after trip slip in her passport but unfortunately the visa was not used till it expired. she had a serious accident she couldn't make the trip cos she was hospitalized so she was unable to appear back at the embassy.she later sent them an email to explain which she didn't get a response to.we just want to findout if this will affect her future applications as she's is trying to apply for tourist visa with her husband for summer holiday.thanks for the anticipated response.

She should go back to the embassy whenever she is medically able to and show them that she is in Nigeria and did not overstay, which is all they want to verify. They don't care whether she used the visa or not (and her serious accident is reason enough for why she didn't); all they care about is ensuring that she didn't abuse the visa and is in Nigeria now, not somewhere in France or Europe illegally.

Whatever location was indicated on the slip. I've never gotten such a slip from the French embassy, but I got one from the Italians and it stated their embassy.

Hi Guys. I was admitted for Masters program in robotics and Computer Visions with my HND. Program is to start by September 13 2019. I want to know how to apply for Visa and all.

I also want to know if I have to pay tuition fee (which is 1500euro in a year) before applying for Visa. Do I also have to pay for accommodation before applying.
My aunt is my sponsor, I don’t know if this is acceptable at the French Embassy. What’s the minimum balance required for Student application.

Congregations on your admission. For the tuition, you can pay half, try contact your school and enquire about the payment options. However, it'll be nice if you can pay half the tuition and the CVEC fee.
For the accommodation, you need start searching for accommodation through your school if possible, try and contact your school if they can help you with accommodation, if they're unable, there are so many sites through which you can search for accommodation.

Does paying half of tuition guarantee Visa approval. Can i get a refund if visa is not granted. About the accommodation, do I have to pay upfront too?

Paying half tuition doesn't guarantee visa issuance, however, with proper documents to back your application I'm certain you'll get it. For the tuition refund, you can contact your school for if they have any refund policy, I'm sure they will have, although you'll be charged for the refund.
For the accommodation, you can pay for 3 months starting from the commencement date of your intended programme.

Congrats. You don't need to legalize any document with MOE.
The documents you must submit to secure student visa are:
1.Your completed online visa application form
2.your admission letter
3.Your CVEC payment receipt
4.International Passport
5.Proof of part or full payment of your tuition fee ( Although it's not compulsory, However, I would advise you pay part.)
6.your Statement of account for 3 months ( that's if you're sponsoring yourself or better still that of your sponsor's)
7.Flight reservation ticket
8.Proof of accommodation
9.Travel Insurance for 3 months at least

When you are done gathering the document, you go to campusfrance for interview after which, you go to the consolar's office VFS for submission, it's possible to submit that same day after the interview at campusfrance.

As regards who can be your sponsor; anybody can sponsor you if the person can prove your relationship him/her. However, it's always advisable for a close relative with same surname to stand as sponsor.

In case there is any other document(s) to be submitted which i didn't include, I believe other gurus in this forum can as well list them.

Good day wonderful nairalanders. Been following this thread codely like a needle and today I picked up my passport with one month France tourist Visa . It feels really good cos have been denied b4 when I tried Italy in 2015. I got most info from here. Thanks again wonderful people.

One quick question mighty house..My Visa validity is dated from 1 June 2019 to 1 July 2019 and duration of stay is 15 days though it's a multiple entry Visa.. I need some clearance here cos I'm kind of confused about that 15 days stay duration

My question is can I stay up to 15 days on first trip and exit , then travel again to else where within the schengen region outside France before the expiration of the Visa since it's a multi entry visa?

I think purpose of visit should be what the trip is all about, how it would benefit you, details of places u would be seeing, addresses of places to visit too and they should relate to where you would be putting up during your trip..for instance u are visiting multiple cities and intend to stay in one city or different cities or in different hotels u should elaborate on that so the VO can understand your schedules, you know, how u plan to manage transportation between the cities or within the same city, how u intend to manage the duration of the trip which u have stated ,just be clear as much as u can and summarize as much as you can too in the simplest of English terms remember you dealing with the French

It means that your total number of days spent in the Schengen zone within the validity of the visa (i.e. between 1 June and 1 July) should not exceed 15 days, irrespective of how many times you enter and exit.

If you applied for a multi-entry visa, you must have given them an itinerary which involves your exiting the Schengen zone (not just France) and re-entering it again and unless it is an error, you were issued a multiple entry visa on the strength of this itinerary. Where possible, try and stick to this itinerary and/or do not alter it radically without demonstrable good reason.

Also remember that the rules allow you to do something on paper, but the green passport sometimes does not. Border police have the power to cancel visas and/or deny entry, so try and ensure that any subsequent re-entry is either in line with what you told the embassy or that you can justify it with supporting documents (it is highly likely that you will be asked questions during the second entry into the Schengen zone). Print out and keep handy a copy of your itinerary to show if asked.

Please help on how to tackle purpose of visit.

Globetrotter addressed your question brilliantly.

Secondly, however, before you apply, you need to try and determine why the first application was refused in January, given that they're both for the same category of visit (tourism). What was the reason ticked on the denial letter and/or have your related circumstances changed since then?

The only reason tick was purpose of visit. Again, I thought maybe because I applied in January.

Globetrotter, thank you. Please I have my introduction I used last time and all these were carefully itemized. Can someone please help with review?
