I believe radautoworks is based in Houston, Texas...

You might wanna reach out to her...

She might also be busy during your visit since she runs her own business...

In such case, you might need to come up with an alternative plan...

Hello everyone, please how can one regular status in america? It is only getting married to citizen the only viable option just want to clear my curiousity? And if so, how possible can one get a nice Nigeria Lady that could be a good wife? Also, suppose one is in relationship before coming in here as a student what is one best decision to make, I mean to go ahead and marry his fiancé or stop the relationship since returning back to 9ja is never an option. A friend is in a serious confusion and dilemma. Thanks for kind advise

Yes, Houston is cheap but I’m planning on moving to Atlanta, Georgia preferably Roswell OR Alpharetta...

I visited & loved it...

Both cities have low cost of living plus affordable rent...

Which City do you currently reside?

When you say not cheap, like how much is the estimated monthly rent for a regular apartment not luxury apartment in Roswell, Sandy Springs OR Alpharetta?

Is it more than a $1,500/Month?

Decent one bedroom in decent neighborhood in Houston is $650-950.

That’s really cheap...

Here in Miami, Florida you’re looking at anywhere from $1,200 - $1,500 for a one bedroom in a decent neighborhood...

Meanwhile my Sister pays $750 for a one bedroom in Dallas, Texas...

Yeah depending on the type/year built/luxury/how many beds etc.. you can get a decent apartment for $1300 to $1500 in those areas if you want more luxury then we looking at $1500 and above.. You can check Zillows for latest pricing

Brodaly, Firstly marrying here isn't the only option for getting your paper.Majority have just chosen that option because they see it as easy way out, but this days it doesn't come cheap. Plus i think it has the longest process (just saying). Secondly the relationship thing is gonna be hard aswear2gard

Nigeria accounted for the third highest number of US visa overstays last year."

Good Day everyone! there's this American woman (First Class citizen) I've known for years now. It never occurred to me to discuss traveling with her since I was still in school all those years and doing well plus things was still better off in Nig a little.
fast-forward to now that I'm done with nysc plus finding job been difficult, the current situation of the country and so on. I then informed of my plans to come over to the US to work since I don't have enough funds to go via student route.
She suggested she is going to get me a nanny job (ps I'm a guy) reason been that that's the best way to get me in. she said she's going to convince a rich American Family to sponsor me on work visa etc.
After she told me all this I came online to verify but I didn't see any thing of such kind of visa (nanny work visa) so I need you all to help me shed light to this. Thank you all

If it is the real visa and he travels to work as a babysitter, it's not scam, it's a work visa and America has the law to regulate it, how many hours to work, free time and weekend, etc. It's a low pay and visa is attached to the employer, same as IT professionals or agricultural workers but it is a LEGAL stay, nobody can make him slave. Maybe illegal workers can be used and abused, not even paid but not LEGAL visa worker, he can sue his employers and get paid. Do it LEGAL, no problem

They keep your papers but if you don't want to work for them, call the police and you are free to go, of course losing your job and visa. Usually with domestic help families try to protect the house from robbery and keep the passport but they can't prevent you from walking out and if there no problems, nothing disappeared from the house, the passport is given back to his/her owner. Nothing bad happens and unless it's a crazy sick family, nobody locks you up, it's more easy to accuse the employer than the worker. If the worker is legal, the employer has obligations and starting from the visa processing the employers signs.

But yes, illegal people gets in troubles because they don't exist in the system and they are afraid to call the police

You don’t qualify, because you can only apply for a work visa that nobody in America can’t do. Maid/nanny doesn’t qualify under than category.

Interesting. This is the story about a Nigerian family bringing a Nigerian maid and enslaving her. I doubt she was legally working because this kind of work pays not $100 but much more and if it was a working visa, the abused lady would have the contract and the proper visa. She probably came on a tourist visa and didn't have the Work permit.

They do, Work & Travel visa for instance, some American diplomats or rich people can make a contract and bring the nanny, cook or maid to the states.

No they don't. You are mixing up things. Rich people bring in highly skilled au pairs with advanced degrees. The maids you are talking about are here illegally which is why they have no rights. They are promised work visas like this young man who asked the question but never have them. Even a white house hopeful had to drop their bid when they were busted for an illegal maid/nanny.

I am an employer who has hired immigrants on work visas so I know what i am saying.
I don't care who you are, you are not getting a work visa for a maid or nanny. There are people in America for that and it's not a skilled job

Wrong. I did see myself processing the maid visas in US embassy but it's when you know people and you are recommended well. In each country US embassy have the local group of recommended maids and if the diplomat likes the maid or nanny work, they have this option to bring her to the states. Other rich people does it too but it's not announced, you can't apply by yourself.
