Yes, you can use it as a proof of funds provided it covers tuition fees and living expenses for at least one year, and can be liquidated before the relevant period. If anyone needs advice on application for visa or admission, please contact 08056516226 (whatsapp) or visit www.mcfedututors.com

Thank you so much for your quick response..

Visa denied today at window 11. A young lady in her early 20s.
Me: Good morning
VO: pass me your passport and i20 (which I did)
VO: where are you going to
Me: Bunker hill college in boston
VO: you have a bachelor degree
Me: yes
VO: how old are you?
ME: 27
Then she handed the yellow paper to me. A very short interview. What could have been wrong please?
Re: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part 14 by Nutshell44: 9:59pm On May 16, 2019
Sorry about the denial, but this is a community college, the vo will be thinking ,ā€ he has a bachelors degree, now he wants to go for an associate degree which is not even up to the bachelors he has already. Why not masters.??ā€™ā€™

I need help real bad..
I felt I wouldn't need to do this, but time is running out.

I got an undergraduate Full Tuition and fees scholarship and the school refused to give me the i-20 unless I pay the room and board fees which is 8k ( I have 3k, but I need 5k through loan, and I don't have a cosigner)..

Another option is if there is a relative in Little Rock, Arkansas who can attest that I will be living with them..

I don't know if anyone here can help out with any of the options. Because my scholarship will be taken away if I can't provide these alternatives in due time.

Thank you fam...

And how long have you been following this thread?
If I tell you this is not disappointing, I'd be lying. This is a self-made refusal. You should have done proper research before you go ahead and apply to a community college. While students with strong career goals are taking 2, 3 steps forward, you took the steps back, and the VO thought, huh, you're not serious and doesn't know what you want. You're 27 year! There are things you can do in the US; if you try them before you get in, you will chop refusal tire .

My advice for you is to calibrate your vision and academic plan. Do you really want to go to a community college after having spent 4 years in college? What do you need an associate degree for at 27, when you could advance and get a Masters?

Don't make any plan to reapply for now. You've taken a wrong step, but you can right your own wrong. When that is done, go back and get your visa. Wish you the best!

Good evening house. I am considering applying for my student visa, I am married with 2 kids but I will be applying alone. Can someone who is currently studying in any of the USA universities advise on the possibility of postgraduate work permit, family re-union during or after graduation and settlement plan in the state at the end of graduate program.
This is needed to aid my application decision. Unto God.

Then get the relative attest or write a letter, and get the scholarship. But you will have to ask the school if that option is acceptable.

Yes boss.

I have done that and I think he was talking about visiting the admissions office on campus.

What do I do about that ?

P.S: boss I don't really have a family, I just forged one though.

"Trump says he'll open America's doors to high-skilled workers who pass a civics test - so long as they can speak ENGLISH - and close it to people who come by 'random chance' in major immigration reform"

Long overdue, probably mirror the Canadian immigration system.

Admission comes first before the scholarship offer. Literally, all their admitted students receives some form of scholarship. Those you saw without scholarship will receive their scholarship offer after sometime of accepting the admission offer. I think the school uses the scholarship stuff to attract students.

After graduation you have 3 months to search for job, immediately you get a job offer, you will go to your school to give you OPT. The next face bow decide on your company if they file H1B for international students, but if they don't as a stem student you have 3yrs to work.

You would not expect her to spend more than 30 seconds on this . if you had a very low GPA that you think cannot be used for the pursuit of a graduate degree, then take your time to build it here in Nigeria by going for a Post Graduate degree . I don't see any other reason why you at 27 with a first degree will be going for another.

I've been thinking of the best way to convince the consular on why I chose a 2nd degree in Mech Eng. instead of going for my masters in any other field. I studied Petroleum Engineering. Who can help me out here please?

There are many ways you could relate Mechanical Engineering to Petroleum Engineering.
Mechanical engineers can design or maintain oil rig equipment, production pumps etc
Do alignments and servicing of bearings, mechanical seals, valve seals, control valves, etc and also develop new fuel technologies machineries
