Cersei Killed Robert..Let me remind of when Lancel came with his religion ish. He told Cersei that he was ignorant when he was having sex with her and when he killed Robert. Cersei shut him up
How?

the main adversary's soldiers surrendered, did they not? Hope you know in war soldiers do the fighting and if or when your soldiers refuse to fight or even surrender, the war or battle is over.

even the cleverest of men are played for a fool be them powerful or what have you. Showing power and using Burke force show you are a bully. It's as simple as that.

The main character who the war was about has not surrendered and has no plan to surrender rather her brothers planned a phoney surrender to trick her like they have been doing to help Cersei escape justice

If you are playing a man stronger than you for a fool then when he uses his brute force against you dont complain, She gave them enough opportunities and her mercy was taken for weakness.

The war is between Cersei and Dany. The soldiers are only tools to fight this.
So what the soldiers do is immaterial if the leader does otherwise,
Anything is justified in war especially if you are using these same innocents as human shields

In modern warfare, innocents die if they are used as shields, and their death falls on the person who used them as shields
If Cersei cared about the people she will not bring them to where the war was fought, she played that card hoping that Dany will be merciful and she will escape
As Dany said, Our mercy has been turned into our weakness
In ancient warfare killing the innocent is actually normal. Once you lose a war you are wiped out
After the German soldiers surrender in WW2 less than 100yrs ago, Russian soldiers still went on a rampage killing all men, rapingg all women

You asked if the soldiers surrender what will Cersei do? The answer is that Cersei and Jamie will escape and be smuggled away by the Ser Davos that was paid by Tyrion to Pentos and the Lannisters will have time to regroup

Is that what Dany wanted?

The war was between Danny and Cercei you say. So why did she not go for Cercei when she had the chance but decided to kill innocents.

Yes the soldiers are tools to fight, but once you tools are disarmed you are a sitting dock just like how Cercei was and Danny had all the time to kill her but suddenly decided it was the innocents that she had a grouse with.

How can what the soldiers do be immaterial? Most tyrants only hang on to power because they have an army. The day this army turn on them they are finished. So what the soldiers do in mot immaterial guy.

Killing innocents is not normal in Modern warfare!

Why did the Germans not kill every man and rape every woman when they annexed Austria?

To surrender your leader have to be killed/ captured or surrender. That is the sign that a war is won.
Does WW2 count as modern warfare? Have you read what Russians did to Germans civilians when they entered Berlin
Google the rape of Berlin. The Guardian newspaper has it that "'They raped every German female from eight to 80'"

is the main character the one fighting the war? Didn't Qyburn tell her the war is lost and they should escape of which she even agreed and was escaping before Hon. Sandor Clegane stopped them in their escape? Haba bros na wa for you oh.

Beside, if Daenerys had used her brute force and power on cersei alone. Fine, but not on the innocent people of KL. Like where they the ones who played Daenerys for a fool?

2.One who inherits, or has been designated to inherit, a hereditary title or office.

3.A successor in a role, representing continuity with the predecessor.

Cerci is a Baratheon by marriage and since all the true born Baratheons are dead, she is the next in line.

It's like asking why the Russians didn't go directly for Hitler and not rape the women and decimate the Germans. Maybe in an ideal world, there will be wars without innocent civilian casualties not in real life

As far as she is concerned the war was still on as long as Cersei was alive and not surrendered

When in war the first rule is ensure you win by all means. Only winners write history and determine who the villains are

That is why the Germans were tried for war crimes and hardly any Russian was despite committing comparable levels of atrocities

What Lady Olenna was advising her was that Dany needs to win the war first, get power and then worry about the political or warfare correctness of it.
When Cersei blew the Sept of Baelor, while sitting on the throne, did anyone question how she got there? even the other houses who knew the evil she did to get there, the iron bank, the citadel all recognized her as the ruler

of course he is wicked for hitting kids and also the person who used the kids as human shield are cowards and just as wicked as Anthony Joshua.

The war was lost is a clear indication they can't win and all was over. She lost the war and was escaping, and it was very clear she was crying.

When she was in the crypt with Jaime, she wept and said she didn't want to die, she wanted to live, now if that is not defeat shown on Cersei's face in full HD, I don't want what that is.

Fine you might say Cersei didn't surrender, but it was glaring she lost and was defeated hands down.

The person who used kids as human shield bears the crime, there is even a law in modern time

The use of human shields is forbidden by Protocol I of the Geneva Conventions. It is also a specific intent war crime as codified in the Rome Statute, which was adopted in 1998.[1] The language of the Rome Statute prohibits "utilizing the presence of a civilian or other protected person to render certain points, areas, or military forces immune from military operations

Crying to whom? Is that to Dany the person she is at war with?? if you dont surrender you are still in war and would be beaten to death unless she surrenders or dies

When you battle someone like cersie, you destroy them completely and leave not even the tiniest space.

How did Daenerys know that Cercei had not surrendered?

You keep twisting things to suit your narrative. The innocents that Daenerys was killing on the street, were they all around Cercei to show that she was aiming for cercei and they were collateral damage. These were people on the streets of KL and the Mad queen decided to kill them all.

Your comparisms with the Russian German scenario is diversionary abeg. Leave that side. Your Anthony Joshua analogy also does not make sense. So because you are fighting with his father you see the boy on the street you strike him abi.

Must you win the war by killing everything in sight even things and people that were of no threat to you!

She knew Cersei will never surrender this isnt the first time she is dealing with Cersei

According to biblical records, one of the reasons Saul was rejected as king was because he showed mercy to innocent civilians instead of totally killing them

Cersei doesn't care about the people of king's landing that's why she's using them as a human shield

Jamie doesn't care about the people of king's landing all he cared for was Cersei

When Tyrion was trying to release him
Jamie said "to be honest I never cared for the people innocent or otherwise. I only care about one person"

When the lannisters kill the people like in the Sept of baelor or puts them in arms way like bringing them into the gates, it's called smart tactics

But when Daenerys does it it's called mad
We are talking of an entire city here, and don't forget all those were done to achieve an objective...daenerys did hers even after her objective have been achieved. She's truly mad!

Think outside the box

An intriguing new theory suggests that history will repeat itself in the finale this Sunday as the remaining characters play out the same conflict that set the story in motion in the first place: Robert’s Rebellion.

First, a quick Westeros history lesson. Robert’s Rebellion took place roughly 20 years before the events of Game of Thrones . It was a civil war in which an alliance of Starks (led by Ned) and Baratheons (led by Robert) took down King Aerys II Targaryen (aka the Mad King) with an assist from the Lannisters after Jaime renounced his position as Kingsguard and stabbed Aerys in the back, literally.

Ok, so we know that’s a lot to remember, but there’s one more important detail: The rebellion began because Prince Rhaegar Targaryen (the Mad King’s son) allegedly kidnapped Ned’s sister, Lyanna Stark, who was supposed to marry Robert. Lyanna ended up dying under mysterious circumstances . Then, Robert became king and married Cersei Lannister instead, and the rest is HBO’s Game of Thrones .

Got it? Great. Now here’s how the story of Robert’s Rebellion could repeat itself in the Game of Thrones series finale. Step one already happened in Episode 5 when Daenerys Targaryen burned down the entire city of King’s Landing (just like her Mad King father wanted to do) and became the Mad Queen , but in Episode 6, she could go even further.

It’s not hard to imagine that Dany could aim her newfound rage at another Stark in the next episode, accusing Sansa Stark of treason and arresting her. In response, the remaining Starks (Jon Snow, Arya, and maybe Bran) would likely rebel against their new queen. That’s where the Baratheons come in.

King Robert is long dead, but in Season 8, Episode 4, Daenerys officially proclaimed Robert’s bastard son, Gendry, to be a true Baratheon and Lord of the Stormlands, a kingdom just south of the Westeros capital that was traditionally ruled by House Baratheon. Gendry may owe Dany a favor, but if she goes Mad Queen and tries to kill Sansa, we have a feeling he’ll side with the Starks in open rebellion.

The only missing piece of the puzzle is a Lannister to deliver the killing blow. In Robert’s Rebellion, that was Jaime, who was essentially working as private security for King Aerys at the time. Jaime might be dead, but his brother, Tyrion, is still alive. More importantly, he’s Dany’s most trusted advisor, putting him in the perfect position to stab her in the back if it comes to it.

Finally, if history truly does repeat itself, Gendry will end up on the Iron Throne to become King of Westeros. Of course, that assumes Jon will decline his rightful claim to the throne, but as he’s stated before, he has no interest in ruling.

The women and children are what cersie would have used to finish off dany.

Look, tyrion had misled her a few times, causing her to lose soldiers, fleets, her dragon, oberyns wife and daughters etc.....she started suspecting tyrion of protecting his family i.e cersie.

She watched tyrion reject the idea of attacking kings landing and suggesting the idea of diplomacy. It backfired.

Now, tyrion rejected the idea of burning the city to the ground and asked dany to stop the attack. Giving dany the impression that tyrion has someone working with city and tyrion is likely in contact with cersie. I suspect this because cersie felt relieved when the bell rung before dany burnt the city. Cersie had other plans which weren't disclosed.

I also suspect that inviting tyrion to tell him about burning the city was a test for tyrion given by dany, which he failed woefully. It seemed like tyrion was working with cersie to stall the ransack of Kings landing while danys forces deplete slowly.

Looking at her face when the bell rung, I felt she was mad because tyrion predicted it. She didn't know who to trust anymore. She didn't want to follow tyrions idea and lose another loved one. What should she have done? Ringing the bell, does it mean a heartless bitch like cersie has surrendered? Even when we thought cersie was powerless, she burnt the high septa and everyone including it.

Burning the city was the best thing dany did. If not she would have died or lost something that would start a chain reaction that will make her lose everything.
