I don't know why many persons are still applying for competitive courses; medicine,law,engineering, economics, pharmacy, nursing, med lab etc?
Your need to have high jamb and post utme score to be admitted into any of the public universities in Nigeria. Scores like 210,215,230 in jamb are too low for those competitive courses. Candidate scoring 260 and above in jamb and 70 in post utme stand the chance of gaining admission than someone who scored the bolded text however it varies from department.

My centre is Uyo and is affiliated to Gregory University.

This centre is real, though there are many fraudsters in its guise.

What it does is, one registers through SERD Nigeria, chooses a centre and is sent to the director who takes him through sessions for 9 months and, in the case of Hippocampus Nigeria, is registered for the JUPEB exams as a student of the affiliated university, in my case Gregory university.

So, the candidate is sitting for the JUPEB exams in that university, together with the university's own JUPEB candidates.

This automatically makes that candidate a student of that school by virtue of that exams.

This particular centre has granted many students admissions into federal, state and private universities.

The centre is even now also affiliated to Unical for DE admission.

The Director of the centre is a two-time Malabite: He finished his Anatomy and MBBS in Unical.

He is a practising medical doctor.

If he messes up, his license to practice stand withdrawable.

Any reasonable university in Nigeria should consider you but the educational system has changed everything.

Last year merit cutoff mark for MBBS was 250 and it was 290 in 2017.. And I know someone from d east that got it with score less than 270 last year on merit


Hopefully d cutoff mark will not be increased this year.

UDUS don't screen O level before given admission..

I asked one MBBS student if they do accept it he said his not sure..

You can,but go for a school with lesser competition,like a state school,most preferably your school state school, then aim 90+in the post utme
