My wife's original Tenancy Agreement (with both her signature and that of her landlords') is with the landlord, while a copy which has only the landlord's signature is with her (my wife). We tried to get the hard copy from the landlord so we could add it to the supporting documents with both tenant's and landlord's signature in it, but the landlord is stating he can't release the original hard copy, and can only scan and send to us.

Will scanned copies be allowed for tenancy agreement with both signatures? or we should manage with the hard copy she has that has just the landlord's signature?

[quote author=Omot123 post=77576613]I got a refusal for my spouse visa which I put in on august 2018 ECO picked july payslip as missing and no letter attached to support this. But the payslip was sent latter after the first documents were sent in but hubby didn't attach any letter to it. We can't afford to re-apply now, and i'm thinking of going through the appeal process I hear appeal takes like a year or thereabout
My good people on this forum kindly assist on how to go about this appeal process. Can hubby still send the payslips to support the appeal? It took me 8 months to get this decision now I will have to wait for a year now
Kindly render your advise for me to get it right this time thanks to you all for always being there.

Was the payslip sent via recorded mail and before the email stating your application has been forwarded for consideration. If so and you have proof of this you could file a complaint as long as you can prove you sent the payslip before the email stating your documents are being considered because before then you are still free to send in documents. If you want to follow this route and give it a try alongside your appeal send an email or post to the address in the attached picture but maybe don’t mention you didn’t attach a letter that way they might reopen your application.

Hello Everyone,

Please quick questions..i intend to submit the online application next week Friday, the 10th of May 2019.

1. Will my current (and old) passports be collected from me on the day of Biometrics or i will send all to my wife (sponsor) who will then send to Sheffield?

2. At what point am i to print out the online form? Can i print the online form just before i click "Confirm Application" to submit? As i will need the copies at Biometrics and the docs to be sent to Sheffield.

3. Please can i add my UK visa refusal letter as part of documents to send to Sheffield or is the explanation done in the online application where it is asked enough? Or i explain some more in the additional notes provided at the back of the VAF 2A document?

4. Do I need to add my wife's (sponsor) old British passports too? Or just the current British passport?.. I believe it is my wife's scanned passport data page i'm submitting..

5. Please find attached for a page in the online application form.. Is this for me to fill my wife's details? It is a bit confusing..

Old passports not required.

Print form when you have fully completed all process

Refusal letter not required, just honestly answer questions in appropriate section

Your passport would be collected during biometric interview..... Also have the biometric copy of sponsors passport.

Thanks for the response..

I have applied online and paid all the necessary fees with my Biometrics fixed for the 20 May, 2019.

Please what are the necessary docs for the biometrics? i'm seeing "Printed application, Appointment confirmation, Supporting documents and Application fees.."

What supporting docs? i thought i was sending it to my wife in London who will then send to Sheffied..

Please can anyone advise on how to make "priority service payment" for Family Settlement/ UK spouse visa?

My biometric appointment is tomorrow, and I am still unable to make priority service payment. I have sent an email to the address stated on the website but I haven't received a response. I went to the TLS office in VI and was guided to call the UKVI number (00442034811736... at the exorbitant rate of £1.37/min), however I was told that it is the TLS office in VI that should organise the priority service.

(1) Please has anyone been able to pay for the priority service recently? How was it done?
(2) Also, would I still be able to pay for the service after the biometric, and attach the receipt in my supporting documents? Or should I cancel my tomorrow appointment until I am able to resolve this issue?

Please any comments and advice are highly welcome.

Many thanks!

The TLSContact website says

Purchase Added Value Services (if the payment method is only available online for the service you wish to use, please email to priorityservices-region1@tlscontact.com) specifying your GWF reference number, name and surname, and the location where you are submitting your visa application for further guidance on the alternative payment mode. Please note that we can only accept payment in GBP or EUR, and that this alternative payment process for online Added Value Services will take 3 working days for the payment to clear.

Hi..

I also didn't see the priority service.

Also, please what did you do with REGISTER AT COMMERCIAL PARTNER section of the online application that happens just before one prints?

I cant find a way to register on TLSContact when i click on the REGISTER AT COMMERCIAL PARTNER tab... so the section remains black not green.

How did you do this please?

Goodluck with tomorrow if you go ahead..

I doubt you can pay for priority after biometrics..

Hi,
They gave my husband a checklist of the things he submitted and asked him to bring it with him when he's collecting the documents.
We didn't register on the TLS website.
Yes exactly but I also added Feb 2019 because we had received my Feb payslip and bank statement. That was just an extra lol.

Hi...

The Biometrics was done yesterday, without being able to make the priority payment.

All that was required was the valid Nigerian passport. All other documents would be sent directly to Sheffield with the supporting documents.

However, I just received a response to my TLS enquiry about the Priority Service shown below:

Dear Valued Customer,

Thank you for your email.
Please note that this process is only for customers who applied through Visa4uk, and who wish to purchase Super Priority, Priority or Priority Settlement visas. It is not available for any other of our other optional Value Added Services. We only accept payment in Euro or in GBP. The bank details to pay are as follows:

Account name: Teleperformance Ltd
UK VI PAYMENT AC
Bank name: HSBC UK Bank PLC
BIC: HBUKGB4B
IBAN: GB75HBUK40127674632507
Sort code = 401276
Acc no = 74632507

Please not that it will take up to three working days to verify your bank transfer, and we therefore advise that your appointment is booked after this timeframe. We invite you to check our
Terms and conditions of sale for further information.
Best Regards,
TLScontact Team

I do not know why this information was not made readily available ab initio, or placed on their website. Why would one need to email them and wait endlessly to get this information... this is quite baffling. Unfortunately, it seems I have missed out on the priority service.

Well, I do hope someone else might find this experience and information useful, and be able to use the priority service accordingly.

wow .. wow... wow.. that will certainly hurt.. .missing out on priority service due to such late response... and not because you have been denied visit visa/don't have the money..

Lets just stay positive though..

Also, please what Sheffield address were you told to send the docs to?

UK Visas and Immigration, International PO Box 3468 Sheffield United Kingdom S3 8WA ?

Were you interviewed?

Please did the link provided to u via email to change password in TLSwebsite work for u? it isnt working for me..

U used DHL to send to ur partner yh?

I also think i made a mistake in online application as a question asked if i av ever been given visa to the UK or a commonnwealth nation in the past 10years.. i put NO.. not knowing South Africa is a common wealth nation and i have been there.. found out yesterday as i was at the biometrics..

Should i write a cover letter stating my error OR add it to additional info in appendix 3 4VAF?

Thanks for anticipated response..

Congrats on the Biometrics, and best wishes smiley

No the link provided in the email did not work for me either.

They registered the profile for you? Hmmm... I didn't get any profile registered... was this on their TLS website?

You can send documents to your partner in UK via DHL or any other means. However it is advised that your partner sends all the supporting documents to UKVI sheffield via Royal Mail Special Delivery (however if the docs weigh over 2kg, it then gets sent via ParcelForce. Unfortunately ParcelForce does not deliver to P.O.Box addresses (as they require a signature), so this can add further delays). Alternatively using DHL may be preferred, but may be more expensive.

I don't think not identifying South Africa as a commonwealth nation is a critical mistake. Did you state that you had visited there under "HAVE YOU EVER TRAVELLED OUTSIDE YOUR COUNTRY OF RESIDENCE, EXCLUDING THE UK, IN THE LAST 10 YEARS?" section. If yes, I think that should be sufficient; however to have full peace of mind, you may wish to send a letter or add it in additional info in Appendix 2 4VAF clarifying the oversight.

I got an email about being registered on their TLS website and told to even change password via a link, which isnt even working...

I hear everyone sends via Royal Mail Special Delivery.. the docs will definitely be more than 2kg.. i doubt anyone's docs here will be less than 2kg tbh.. Are you saying Royal Mail doesn't send packages above 2kg?

For the common wealth question, i think i will go for the cover letter route..

Thanks for the support.

Others can please advise too.

Good evening all please a cousin of mine needs my help from London. She attended her university there about 10 years ago and started working. But recently when they supposed to issue her papers they did not so she went to court and won the case but her lawyer was a swindler. She was given the option for getting her resident paper or getting her damages fees she opted for her papers but the lawyer insisted in both. The lawyer submitted his own account number requesting the government to pay him directly instead of my cousin. After so many arguments with the lawyer we advised her to allow the lawyer submit his account number hence what she needed is her papers. Now she was expecting a letter deliverying her resident papers but got a letter of denial. Now she is not aware if the lawyer has received alert and refused to inform her. She informed the lawyer of the letter of denial but all the lawyer could do was to request 1k pounds to reappeal the government decision. Please body with contact of human rights lawyers in London that can assist her? Useful advice please.
