MadameW:
Good afternoon everyone, please I have two questions:
1) can I use my bank statement generated via my banking app for my U.K. visa application? Or does it have to be printed at the bank?
2) Do I have to upload my checklist on TLS portal?
Thanks in advance.
I haven't seen anyone who used app-generated statements. Get from the bank, duly signed and stamped.

If you are doing self-service, checklist is part of the documents you should upload.

Please I applied for 6 month visitor's visa last year, which I was given, but now as if all the format of application has changed, someone called me asking of TLS connection asking for service charge which am just hearing that, because when u did my own application I applied online, did the payment online, choose date online and took all my supporting documents to the TLS office with they only check and scan the documents for me, am confused now.

Why is it so hard to understand what you typed?

@jyyes thank u so much for ur honest criticism. No hard feelings ,we learn everyday n to b candid I stumbled upon dis forum after I have done d submission and I applied on my own.On d issue of my spouse statement I didn't do all that calculations and he actually have his company account which alot have this days and don't use n he has geniune bizness wit huge inflows for cars which payment reads so.we are both sponsor to d trip n genuinely will spend 5days.we intend shopping for things to sell back in niaja wit flight inclusive which I explained in the cause of filling the forms. The issue of funds not being in my bank too,it is no news we actually don't keep funds where we work so I didn't tink it was going to be an issue, until yesterday a fellow banker got same denial similar reason n it becomes clear that they actually want the funds in d salary account and another who kept his got the visa. The huge inflow in my Stanbic account was Neva an inflow but rolled over treasury which have been for years.Anyway like u advised I have learnt n will follow advise given, believe the next will b better next year wen I wish to visit again. It is painful anyway cos really had genuine intent cos no family over there just for tour n feel of a different country aside from others visited.Thank u dear for your advise. It is really handy and will equip me on any visa application next time.God bless u

Many thanks for this, will get the printed stamped-and signed statements

Yes, I’m doing self service, just wanted to be sure about the checklist since there’s an instruction not to sign it before ones appointment

Good day all,
Please I want to know if it's wise to go for school(masters) and the possibility of practicing after the masters program
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by kirah6: 6:41am On May 23, 2019
Please help me!!!!

I intend to visit the UK for 3 weeks with my son by August, was invited by my sister whom I stayed with during my masters programme 2014-2015. The trip will be sponsored by my husband(1.1million balance in his savings account and his salary is 192,500) he isn't going with us, I'm currently a stay at home mum which was stated there.

I need more clarification on the money aspect as I read it's better for budget to be as low as possible, so here is my application:
other income earned per YEAR=480,000(from hubby)
Amount spent in a month =30,000
Amount you intend to spend in uk=469,000
Amount my son spend in a month=10,000
Amount my son intend to spend in uk=20,000 is this okay or I need to change something

The documents I have are: his bank statement, hubbys employment letter, introduction letter from his work place addressing us as his family, sponsorship letter from my hubby, invitation letter from my sister and their bills, my son's birth certificate, our marriage certificate, my Msc certificate, our international passport.... what other document do I need?

Please help me.....I want to apply for a visitors visa in July my sister is a British citizen and she gave birth last year. Now she wants me and my mum to come and visit. She’s paying for all my expenses and she has a good job. I currently earn 150k net and I am currently doing ACCA (it’s an exam for accountant it’s based in the UK) exams here in nigeria. Am still single. I am worried about how to prove strong ties to my home country. I intend to state that my company is currently paying for my ACCA exams on the basis that I work with them for 6 years. Does this prove enough ties to my home country.

1) Please print at the bank your statement, stamp and sign by authorized person.
2) I don't think you need to , just print the checklist and come with it on the day of your appointment.

3 weeks is long.
I will advise you write 14 days
And write the sponsorship letter as
'Consent and sponsorship letter'
Also add hubby's ID card at work
If ur hubby has travelled before,Attach his passport page, scan and print the visa pages and add it too.
Your hubby has to write it in that letter he his giving u consent to take your son and providing so so amount.
Your sister should also state she is providing accomodation, transportation and feeding as well in her letter. Add ur sis passport page too.

Scan your past visa pages too and add it

I want to apply for a 6 months visitors visa in July 2019 for a 3 weeks visit. my elder sister is a British citizen and she gave birth last year. Now she wants me and my mum to come and visit. She’s paying for all my expenses and she has a good job. I currently earn 150k net and I am currently doing ACCA (it’s a professional exam for accountants globally) exams here in nigeria. My Mums application is fine but for my own, i am worried about how to prove strong ties to my home country. I am not yet married and I don’t have any property. I intend to state that my company is currently paying for my ACCA exams on the agreement that I work with them for 6 years so I will definitely come back. Does this prove enough ties to my home country or is this relevant.

Thank you in advance.

If you didn’t list on your application form that you will be staying at your uncle’s place, please you shouldn’t cancel until you’ve passed immigration.

Hello all. I currently have about 5 months validity on my UK visa and passport. I’ll like to ask if it is necessary to renew my passport before traveling.

Please I hope using my husband's savings account instead of current account won't be a problem because we won't be able to get payslip from his workplace(Army)
