Please Help Guys. I wanna know if the person must be a staff of a company before the company can sponsor the person judisco2019: |

I think you're too worried. It just means your passport has been sent to the respective visa office for stamping... It was the same thing i saw when i tracked mine until i got the update to come pick it up... There's nothing to be worried about. OptimusPrime21: |

judisco2019: From my long stay here, using a company sponsorship have always led to the vo wondering why a company will want to break their bank in sponsoring an applicant considering how expensive canadian education is and living expenses. Also if the company sponsors you, won't it affect its operations, possibly deny staffs of their salaries..these are possible things the vo will be wondering...i wouldn't recommend you do dat....it's advisable to have a sponsor who is using his or her own personal money which is easily accessible to him or her..staff or not a staff, I don't think it will fly.. open to other gurus in case am wrong... 3 Likes |

Timeline Visa application 2April Online Biometric done 4april Biometric correspondence 2may Up till now I have not heard from them, abeg any hope that I will receive medical request after this correspondence biometric letter , because I wanted to even withdraw my application or if they send medical request and I don’t go for the medicals, will they deny me? Pls your response will be highly appreciated, thanks 1 Like 1 Share |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by OptimusPrime21: 9:15am On May 23, 2019 |
Vickglam: For the bolded, have you sent webforms to inquire wats the hold up for... but with recent flow of events, most people that get the correspondence biometric letter usually get a denial but anything is possible...and when I say anything is possible, it means you do not need to withdraw your application. If they send a medical request and u don't go for the medicals which I will wonder why won't u, it's an automatic denial..it means you are not interested anymore.... So I suggest you keep the faith... As far as am concerned, anything is possible as long as it's CIC. |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by glopatra(m): 9:39am On May 23, 2019 |
Tlontin: I really appreciate your response. Pls can you direct me on the way forward after making that payment. And I have a B.Eng degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering , do you think I can get a visa for this software Engineering course with my background? |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by OptimusPrime21: 9:44am On May 23, 2019 |
glopatra: Not just the background, your experience is the koko....have you been working as a software developer or anything related to software engineering...if yes den you have a chance, but the main thing is to be able to convince the VO that you are really going there for studies and u will come back... I will suggest after payment..start reading from the beginning of the thread to know what you need visa-wise 1 Like |

glopatra:Getting admission and visa are two different thing. I can’t answer this question as I am not inclined to this area of study however if you think there’s a career progression from elect elect to software engineering go ahead if not ask around. Is elect elect prerequisite for software engineering according to centennial requirements? If yes you can establish same reason to the VO via your SOP. Peace!!! 1 Like |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by glopatra(m): 10:08am On May 23, 2019 |
OptimusPrime21: @Tlontin and @Optimusprime22 I really thank you both for your response. I don't have any software engineering related experience but the courses I did during my B. Eng undergraduate studies met some of the prerequisite for the software Engineering program, that's why they gave me the admission. And it was stated in their website that the program is also for professionals desire to make a career change to Software Engineering. Does it make sense to alight the my last point on my SOP for the visa |
