A programming glitch?
That reminds me of our days in MMM, guiders were busy using some flimsy to confuse the participants when their GH were delayed.
For your information, the girl that answered your question is not sure of what she was saying. She was just guessing and you were buying into her guess

In the first place, is she the consulate officer?
Why must you take orders from her when the information is crystal clear in the website and when you know that you dont have any scholarship and still ticked that you have scholarship and claiming its a programming glitch grin cheesy.
Well, be ready to prove to them how it is a programming glitch.
They need your proof on that day not your stories and speculations.

Anyway, July ist coming. Una go understand better by then

Hey bro, stop scaring people. MMM is a terrible reference at this point. If i may ask, why would the embassy put her on the desk to give information she's not certain? So I'm not likely to trust the words of an mtn customer care rep when I call for enquiries is that what you are saying?

About the glitch statement, i didn't say it with certainty, i said "IT MIGHT".

MY ADVICE TO EVERYONE READING. Place a call to the Consulate on Monday and make your decision. Once you book, don't bother listening to what anyone has to say, if not you will keep cancelling and rebooking.

We've called, feedback was received and we made our decision based on the feedback we got.

So place your call people and get the info yourself from the embassy. Record the calls if need be. Don't let anyone lead you into booking the wrong category.

PLACE A CALL PEOPLE AND DON'T LISTEN TO ANYONE'S SPECULATION BASED ON WHAT THEY THINK THEY READ FROM THE PORTAL. ENGLISH IS NOT THEIR FIRST LANGUAGE. THIS WILL BE MY LAST COMMENT ON THIS ISSUE

This English language expressionin this letter is very poor.. Infact, if i were to be admission officer, I wouldnt have consider any option.. Its a polytechnic i guess.. This is not how to write a proficiency letter.. Proficiency letter doesnt involve super stories as written in yours..
mine included tales by moonlight and it was accepted grin

So, please do not cancel your visa appointment request if you have booked in category B for category A UNLESS you have a SCHOLARSHIP. I am stating this from experience and AUTHORITATIVELY. That is all I can say and cannot say anymore. I REPEAT DO NOT CANCEL. Those that have ear let them hear. The lady with the instruction purportedly from the embassy is a receptionist moreso, have you considered the fact that those who have started this rumour of cancellation might have booked late and started it to get people cancel stuff so as to push their application forward ahead of those who booked before them?

I repeat those that have ear let them hear and no further comment from me.
This is your first post and you are talking from experience.. “I repeat..” grin
You are just looking for people to be on your side.
Just wait till Monday. I’m sure you know how many people that have 2:1 and 2:2 on this journey.
If you’ve seen people that book early, check their reference number and check those that are recently booking, you’ll understand.
All the best, my prayer is everybody gets an interview date. More Nigerians in Germany, more merry I believe.

abi ...cuz nobody else has such experience. I've not heard of anyone that went for interview under this new system or under category A. This is why I concluded she must be a VO or the PA to the German ambassador. This is the hour of enlightenment.

I paid 30k, above the normal price because I want it urgently. If you are familiar with the immigration in Abuja you will know money move mountains.

I live in Abuja. The person who helped me works in the passport office maybe that's why it was ready in 24hours.
You can renew your passport even if it is not remaining 6months, as long as you are able to table the reason with proof.
They will collect a photocopy of your admission letter, your old passport and a letter addressed to the immigration baba stating your reason.

Show working how? If you don't believe it is fine with me bro.

Why won't he believe you, I only replied you because of your statement at the end(previously). Because it happened in Abuja doesn't mean it happens same elsewhere. I remember when my previous passport was mutilated I was asked to go to Abuja for that singular reason( it wasn't expired but that was way back, when change of name and age you had to go to abuja) .

I was home during the holidays.I went to renew and they where asking me for extra money. God knows I was not in the mood to find person 2kobo sef. someone in other states might be more patient with them and get it but I was not in that mood.

To cut the log story before we drail the thread with unnecessary arguments. The guy asked if he can go on and I said yes he can. Just add the old and new with a RUBBER BAND. And make sure you get a new one before leaving Nigeria.

Now we all know with the following procedure you can extend your passport ,best you print that page from their site and go with it. We learn everyday.

Argument close....
PERIOD.

Tschüss

Basalt come and see the problem you just caused.
Someone booked under category B on 7th May, then after this category argument and calls, he canceled his appointment in category B and booked a fresh one under category A.
Then on getting to this place and seeing Basalt posts, he cancelled the category A booking and went back and booked under category B now he sent me private message asking me that he is contemplating booking canceling again and booking category A cheesy.
Abeg make una die this matter na. Some people dey in hot soup already

AL just dropped. Masters in Electrical Engineering University of Rostock. But there was a condition that an extension of enrolment is not possible except i meet up with 11th of october date (The letter looses its validity if i am unable to enrol at that date). My question is that i have already booked interview about 4 days ago using Oct1st as enrolment date but i have not gotten any date yet.

PLS BROTHER WHAT DATE DID YOU APPLY I'M WAITING FOR MY OWN AL
Re: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 6 by Goztino(m): 2:47pm On May 25, 2019
Now make I talk my own.
There is one single question I asked myself that made me cancel my Category B booking and rebooked under category A?
The question is this ===Gọzie, its risky booking under category A, but is it not more risky remaining in category B and getting date on late September , When AM takes between 4-6 weeks from interview date?

I couldn't answer that question, then I had no option than to cancel.
They are still appointing dates to those that booked on 6th May and some of them was even given 2nd August.
Remember those that booked on 7th May overplenty.
When it took them July and August to finish dates for those that booked on 6th May, then probably it will take August and September to finish dates for those that booked on 7th May, then let's assume you get interview date on 15th September, add extra 4-6 weeks to it before your AM arrives and that is 15th October if it arrived on exactly 4 week interval.
But ask yourself, what if your AM comes in 5 or 6 week time after your interview?
When will your school start?
When is your enrolment deadline?

These are the analysis I did and cancelled my Category B booking and rebooked under category A.
Please do your own analysis well and stick to it.
