Now I understand that Nigerian youths don't read properly

holding a bachelor's degree with a grade of 1. Class - 2. Lower Class and being accepted for a master's degree *(also a DSH course-related admission to the master's program)* or PhD study in Germany or
holding a scholarship from a German institution for a study or a PhD in Germany or
holding a signed “Aufnahmevereinbarung” / hosting agreement concerning your research fellowship with a university or research institute accepted by the “BAMF”
Who’s this one...Nigerian youths don’t read properly because people are interpreting things differently and trying to understand. Funny enough you have said nothing meaningful to the discuss

I get your point, but you have completely ignored the word “also” which means the degree can be from any course “including” DSH course related admission.

Good day everyone,

I need the structure of an English proficiency Letter that will confirm, that i have reached B2 level in English language according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

The one my school issued doesn't state so, it just states that the mode of communication is English language which was rejected the school i applied to, I want to go back to my school to get a new one.

Your kind responses will be appreciated.

Good evening guys
I just got admission to the university of jena
My passport will expire by feb2020, do I Need to get another passport and if yes which of the passport should I use to book appointment for visa interview. Thanks

You can renew your passport!
Mine was going to expire September 2021. And I renewed (because the passport must cover your period of stay and must be at least 3months valid at the time of your exit)
Go to the immigration office in Abuja with your admission letter. You will be asked to write a letter to the immigration boss stating the reason I mentioned. My new passport was ready in 24 hours. I got it the next day. The new passport contained both my new and old passport number.

This happened February this year.

Just calm your nerves before you start jumping into conclusions...

First.. why was it not written directly?? Why bracket!?

Second, how could german embassy favour courses that involves DSH over English taught courses. If at all, it should be the other around.

Third, have you gone through the website itself, there are many English errors eg “Life” instead of “Lives”

Now this is my view, it’s in bracket because there are courses that does not require DSH, for instance mine and there are no reasonable reason to favour DSH related courses over non DSH related courses. It should be both.

ur question is very funny but let me try to answer it....
You asked why they should favour those whose course will be taught in German over those whose course will be taught with English.
Have you forgotten that Germany has German as their official language?

Please read below some of their requirements too for category A

holding a TestAS certificate with a standard score of 100 - 130
holding a very good B-1 language certificate from the Goethe Institute (90 points and more) or
holding a good B-2 language certificate from the Goethe Institute (80 points or more) or

Now my question is, why didnt they also include those that have B-1 in Toefl or IELT since you are of the opinion that priority shouldnt be given to those whose MSc will be taught in Deutsch.

Anyway, na July everything go settle

Are you sure DSH is the name of german intensive course your school is offering..Just my opinion bro

The DSH (German abbreviation for Deutsche Sprachprüfung für den Hochschulzugang) is a language proficiency test required for entry to a German university and to undertake all classes in the German language.

It consists of a written and an oral examination, the written part being a precondition for the oral one. Students are allowed to use a German–German dictionary during the written examinations and—in case of failing—to only repeat the examination once. The grading scale of DSH is between 1–3 with 3 being the best possible grade. A detailed breakdown of the percentile achieved in each part of the examination will also be given on the certificate.

Proficiency levels according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR):
DSH 1 (≥57%): Level B2
DSH 2 (≥67%): Level C1
DSH 3 (≥82%): Level C2

This was pretty much explanatory. A school i have eyes on has it as a requirement.

What is the possibility of getting at least a 1 in it?

Get a new passport, if you come to Germany with that one that's how long your resident permit will last.
Besides no one will put Visa on a passport that's less than six months , with the way embassy is doing YOUR Visa might not be ready by July ending.
Book with the old. But start making preparation for the new.
You can attach the new and old with a RUBBER BAND.

Yeah he cant renew. Yes he can go ahead with the old one. But most start making preparation for the new one incase embassy calls him for his Visa by August and he comes to Germany in September. His resident permit will expire that Feb. Exactly what happened to me. Everyone got two year I got 17months.

Well because English is more widely spoken than German, hence international student will more likely understand English than German which is very obvious. Their main aim is for you to understand what you are being taught in class and every other thing is secondary. What you are being taught could be in English or German. And because less people speak German, it’s important to ask for certification.

Now, you’ve raised some key point and im partially open to them apart from the fact that your over sabi is obvious and you don’t know how to argue intelligently.. it’s not a competition bro but then it’s fine. I hope we will be able to confirm on Monday as someone rightly said.

What documents did you upload so we can advice on the ones to certify but basically
You are to send the certified copies of your Bsc Certificate, EPL, Transcript, WAEC/NECO

My adviice based on the link above, you just have to include a scratch card you dont have to take chances

I think you are the one doing over sabi here because you keep typing epistles to justify something that is obviously wrong. That is oversabi attitude and height of blind argument. I guess the scholarship part is also not seen by you?
Do you have any scholarship or live in Abuja?
How will you defend that part when they ask you in Lagos? ..

I know you will obviously come online to defend that part too with another long epistle
