I quite agree with you. Nigeria may have had nine lives so to speak, but I dare say that it has finally exhausted it all. What we have now is a country living in its last days. Nigeria now looks more likely to break up than remaining as one country based on events that are unraveling. With the way things are going, it is no longer a question of if Nigeria will break up but how and when. What will fast-track its balkanization is the Fulani's belief that they can do anything they want and get away with it. They are now so confident and have this weird attitude of invincibility that would be their greatest undoing. Forget about the bickering going on in nairaland between Igbos and yorubas, a time is coming when Southerners and middle belt people will unite and speak with one voice which will be matched with action against these terrorists, and by this time, it will be happening in many fronts and at the same time. by this time, elements in the army would start taking sides with their ethnic nationalities and soldiers will start deserting the army. What many fail to understand is the fact that ex generals like Theophilus Danjuma and Obasanjo have access to classified information others would not be privy to, and for them to be raising such alarm without minding the fact that the instigators will still use state resources and institutions to fight them speaks volumes.
Right now, Nigeria is the most likely country to break up in the world today and it is already unfolding before our very eyes. However, except prominent figures in the South and middle belt would act fast by involving the United States, Israel and of course UN once things begins to spiral out of control, otherwise these guys from Futa Jdalon really won't give up without a brutal fight and they have obviously been preparing for it.

Nigeria is truly sitting on a pile of Atomic bomb waiting to explode.
The recurrent Fulani crisis is becoming too unbearable and this administration ought to have handled it more drastically and decisively before getting to this very stage where people will start questioning the integrity of actions taken to curb their evil act.
In governance, public confidence is very important and the way you carry your citizens along on national issues is fundamental in order not to stir controversy.

2) States' Governments should gradually phase off open grazing over a 3-year period.

3) Anyone be it farmers or Herders seen carrying AK-47 should be arrested and jailed for 5years with hard labour.

4) The pertrators of gruesome murders should be fished out and tried in courts.
Those found guilty should be executed by firing squads at 12 noon and should be televised on NTA network for all Nigerias to see.
