I have to say this.. Not to sound offensive buh for the mods to really step up their games on this forum... I mean i have realized that lately, some news take so late before getting updated on the front page of this forum. This particular news for instance, i already saw it very early today on Instagram via Instablog and now it's just getting to FP on here... Same thing with that news of the Chemist man beaten to death by Vigilantes.. I think the fact that This forum now gets a lot of visitors from both users and guests hhas really made the Mods to relax and not getting ginger like they used to some years ago. Noww they seem to be a bit relaxed... I won't even be surprised if i get Banned for this harmless post because they're quick to ban people now too unlike those years back then... Well I've said all I've got to say... Left to y'all...

Our school authorities should place a ban on activities like this indefinitely.
And if the students go against the ban and go out of the school jurisdiction in the name of social life. then they live with the consequences.

I keep saying this. Don't swim after eating or drinking. In fact it is always a rule of swimming pools. But folks won't heed to those swimming rules.

Swimming is an exercise for me. I don't go over board to impress anybody with my swimming skills even though I am a good swimmer.

As an Undergraduate student there many years ago,there was a ban on all social activities,outside the school.

Now you have people at the helm of affairs who have let loose....

Because no one has been convicted for negligence that is why this ugly trend continues.Just imagining what their parents are going through right now.

The parents will be going through their 'children upbringing' notes, wondering where they missed the values of keeping their wards in the straight and narrow.

The military taught me how to swim. Before then my parents had warned me never to approach the lip of a pool. Those detailsmake a huge difference in life. The abundance of caution cannot be overemphasized. I can't say what I have regretfully missed in life by being led properly.

That same school had banned social activities outside the University...the Management will release a statement on this because I do not think it is allowed....

I was there on Friday to see old folks who work there.....

In fact,all social activities end on Friday....school rules...

What these guys had done was end their activities on Friday....then just stroll to catch separate fun which isn't part of their schedule on Sat.....

Two Veterinary Medicine students of the Michael Okpara university of Agriculture, Umudike, Abia State, have died after drowning in a swimming pool during a party yesterday night being Saturday 25th of may.

According to report, this tragic event occurred during a pool party as organized by the Director Of Socials of Veterinary in the name of Comr. Alexander.

The incident happened, last night, during a birthday party at Kenvilles hotel, In Umuahia, Abia State.

The deceased have been identified as Johnson Ibe, a 300 level student, and Egwu David, a 100 level Course Representatives Student of Veterinary medicine, MOUAU.

Based on investigation, these two students were said to be drunk and in the process of swimming, get drunk. Their bodies was found floating on the water this morning.

Meanwhile, a set of police men invaded Veterinary hostel this morning and arrested some students as a result of the incident.

Such a sad news in my school...When death is calling it takes God to avoid it. one of the guy the were telling him you mustn't go for pool party that if it's a church program he wouldn't go and he said leave that thing that when we come back we will still go to church, little did he know that it was going to be his end. The sad part of it all is they are the only sons of their parents. RIP to them.
