Cool...So we have big earners here in their respective careers but have paid their dues over the years and are earning very well and doing big things....I have a Naija friend that have been working for PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC) in Helsinki for years...He is a big boy...Traveling round the world and doing big things, but he started from the lowest cadre in that establishment..

Bro the monies (this is how we call it in the Public Sector) will accumulate if you work tirelessly. Imagine you work full time during hols as a student, lets assume monday to friday (for a minimum of 6 hours daily).

Pay: €10/hour minimum... (this depends on the company as well)

Lets calculate:
* Take 20 working days in a month which excludes weekends.
* 20days x 6hours daily = 120 hours in your holiday month..

Now how much are you going to pocket...?
**120 hours x €10 = €1200 in a month.

NB: This is the minimum amount (excluding tax) you can earn in a month from menial hustle e.g car wash, dishwashing, cleaning, unofficial sales job, transportation, taxi services, nanny duties etc. And you will earn more than that if you are able to work for longer hours and hustle is your second name.

If you can bargain well with your potential employer, menial jobs + internships + weekend jobs should give you around 3k plus. But you must be ready to kill yourself with work, work, work. And in few years, the Finnish Government will appoint you as the Minister of Works.

This is what Ibra is talking about. He is an IT employee, he also does part time jobs. Survival is key!

Finland based Nigerians/Africans on this thread hit me up ASAP....A Swedish friend just shared a freelance job for me here, you just need to have a laptop/smartphone, speak any of Finnish/Swedish/English and must LIVE IN FINLAND only.....!
