Can we not be posting on nff twitter page? Will it be deleted?

Do you think they don't know all these things

Go to NFF page the comments there mirror these ones here

So you think that anything you post on the NFF twitter feed actually get to the high echelons of the NFF? Ol' boy, you must be super naïve.
Listen, the NFF twitter page is run by a low level staff who doesn't even have access to the power that be in the organization. If you need to reach out to the NFF, better contact the folks who have access to the NFF leadership.

Its annoying to see that our rant here amounts to nothing, yet we go on and on and on arguing daily about everything bad concerning our football.

I think is better we find a way of getting our thoughts and discussion over to the NFF somehow. Its either we further our discussion on the NFF Twitter page or do something else.

We screamed to high heavens during the AYC about these Grandpas yet Mr Paul flew them over to Poland.

We have been screaming loud here and tracking most of our Foreign boys here yet they keep getting ignored while their resident countries snap them up.

We on this thread have to do something, anything somehow. Our suggestions, our cry, our comments must be heard. If the lazy NFF have to follow this thread as scouting ground for our boys overseas, I don't care.

Cc tbaba, icons, christkels, thegoodjoe, andrew44, junnyjake, forgiveness, komekn, Bascovanveli, Humility, etc you guys have to spearhead this one way or another

I am tired of empty ramblings without end product angry angry

Maduka Okoye..

The process that led to his switch to Nigeria was led by average Nigerians who contacted the boy via social media, learnt that he was interested and made Pinnick talk to the boy directly. I know the people who led the process.

The goalkeeping position is currently very thin, we do not have many young prospects but our scouting is still very poor. Why has Nwokolor not being invited??

The likes of Maduka Okoye and Zaccala could be the future if they develop well. Oremade is tall but i have not seen him make a decent save yet.

Well done, my brother! That's the way to reach to the NFF not by ranting on Nairaland or by posting on the NFF twitter feed. If you have good information to benefit naija footie then contact the decision makers asap. Some folks here have access to them. Thank you very much!

The thing is that not all Nigerians have that access. NFF itself need to be proactive. It is shameful that we are parading Offia and Effiom as wingers in an under 20 tournament.

For those bawling at the greed, rife among some of our national team handlers. It is never enough. Do not be caught with the same infestation in your dealings with people. This calls for introspection.

Why do clubs not have their own academies?

If the NPFL is churning out genuine quality kids, it will help the youth teams.

There are plenty academies in the country so that cannot be the problem. It doesn't matter who runs them as long as they are ran.

The problem is getting kids to play in the league and the way we look at the league will solve that. It's not to be downgrading the league and then expecting young men to be playing in it when U20 world cup rolls around.

Most of us are really, very funny on this Thread. I've been following in ghost Mode and can't stop laughing hard to be honest.

I remember when Aigbogun reeled out the List for the AYC, I criticized him, his List and vowed never to follow or see any of their Games which I fulfilled.

I remember some Dudes challenged me to keep to my Words, Icon4s was chiefly among. Lol. I said it then, that U20 should be an Avenue to discover future Eagles, it should not be about winning rather discovering new Talents.

Aigbogun wants to win the Tournament, to become first Coach to win it for Nigeria. Thus he opts for Oldies parading themselves as Youngies. However, he forgets Pace and Power ain't winning Games anymore, rather fitness and tactical discipline..

Some Dudes are questioning his Tactics..... Lol. Ain't it obvious - Pace, Power and Shooting from Outside. In this more than Era, a Manager with UEFA Badge could not build a formidable, tactically sound and disciplined Team?!

Aigbogun must go! Siasia seems the best for this Level as far as indigenous Coaches are concerned.

Siasia should forget it. We do not need indigenous Coach to manage Eagles again. He's better off to managing U23 Team or U20 Team. Garba is the best for the U17 and should be retained to keep churning out talented Prospects.

Aigbogun is a Failure, and I'm not convinced with Imma yet.

All the NPFL teams should have standard academies where they train players. They can't depend on academied to pick up their slack

There was a time when Basco complained about the leadership of Amaju Pinnick.

Now that has come back again to my mind. Look at the state of our U20 and women's team, when was the last time our U17 qualified for the WC? Forget the camping and the money put into place, I'd say nepotism and favoritism has eaten deep into the system since he came in.

I mean a case study is this U20. For all the complains about Sia1 using his 'boys', his boys never disappointed and his teams have always produced at least three players for the SE, Taiwo, Mikel, the RB that died in an accident, Ambrose(or was he 2007 U20?), I can go on about other players who had succesful stints for the SE. Even Obuh's team produced players as well but look at this team, a total disgrace, tactically and otherwise. We need to question Amaju's presidency or at least question the members of the technical team of the NFF

Adefemi. Very good player. Died in greece

The NPFL is DEAD. I was at the Uniben Sports complex last month to watch insurance for the first time this season. Before the match, I happened to over hear a conversation between two players of the visiting team. One of them was talking about a small boy in his area who signed for a Qatari 2nd division club. The small boy has built 2 houses already, while his own mumu agent (I quote) is telling him to be patient. I was not surprised when those two players started the game. The focus of the players in the NPFL is to get out to greener pastures. How will our league develop? The academies have the best players. The NFF should going forward source for players for the U20 from the academies.

Are you the one who will pay for this? How many people go to matches and buy merchandise? Even if all teams were privately owned you won't see many academies because it just isn't feasible. Do u think it is easy to run a football club not to talk about adding an academy to that responsibility?

Let call a Spade a Spade. He has failed us as a Country already. Nigeria may miss out on so many talented Lads, thanks to his Cluelessness. Many talented Lads were at the Camp in Germany, they were well prepared and ready to rep, yet he shunned them for "his" Boys.

What's killing us mostly in Nigeria is; Dream without proper Action Plans.

Exactly that's why i won't blame only scouts, I blame the coaches more. To think that more than 12 Foreign Born came to camp with the flying eagles and he picked only 3 and he has only started one of them in the competition is just so annoying. Instead he has decided to use Grandpa Offia and Great grandpa Effiong. If the other guys he shunned go on to have good careers for thier adopted country we start regretting and wishing "Had we known". The only players I'm looking forward to in this competition are Dele, Ofoborh, Makanjuola and Zacalla because those are mainly the position we need bodies in the super Eagles and they look like they could have a long career because they r still young. the rest will probably just fizzle out in no time

NPFL is Dead because player(s) are playing to escape poverty? (Never mind you didn't talk about their performance in the game)

Its an open secret that Football is a way out of poverty street moreso among Africans and South Americans(Add Latin America too).
The league is not underdeveloped because of "player wants", it is the way it is because the little things (check organisation, exposure) are neglected
