Anambra is even among the top 6, rubbing shoulders with major oil producing states. This is a feat

Anambra State occupies a unique position

First its not an oil producing state like RIVERS, DELTA AND BAYELSA in industry category.

It has the smallest land mass compared to other state yet its able to hold a position in agriculture compared to Niger and cross river states.

It biggest resources is is human resources that's why it holds an enviable position in services when you compare it to Kano in terms of population.

I think education is the Key working for Anambra State.

It doesn't matter. Focus on your on state just like he focused on his own state

WisdomFlakes:

No. Just pointing out to that fellow that he should be more concerned that tiny Bayelsa's is dusting his state than the states he was trying to taunt. undecided

How do you mean? I don't understand. Anambra wasn't even in the top 5. Though it's the only SE state in the top 10.

Quite interesting that only Kaduna and Niger are in top 12 in agriculture. We were always told that the North controls agriculture. shocked shocked

Damn! Africa is so poor. Japan's GDP is 2.2 times bigger than the GDP of all African countries put together. If you are still below 35 and unsure of your future in Nigeria, find a way and move out. Buhari is back again. The total amount of debt we have is more than N80 trillion naira. Even if they pass a budget of 10 trillion naira yearly for the next four years, it will still be 2 times short of our national debt.

And with this President that does not understand bigger economics and how to run a business, do not expect a miracle.

No new ministers are going to do some magic. You can't say all the outgone ministers are incompetent. They just have the wrong person as their leader.

At most, they will pass a bill to make everybody rich, but the fact is that there is no money. Companies will seek to migrate to tax havens, and work from there.

At the same time America and Australia are giving South Africans visa, they are refusing Nigerians.

Nigeria needs help.

Secretly, I pray for a sudden coup.

Four more years with Buhari, ..........,

I saw a post advising buhari on what to do in the second term,I immediately unfriend the man.honestly, I'm not going to be interested in buhari lead government because this second term will just be the same as the first.

You obviously have a serious challenge with the English language else you won't be quoting me out of context. My intial posts (including the one you mentioned) were specifically referring to the nominal GDP (located on the second column of the report). Argue within context next time before quoting someone and talking anyhow.

From the report
ii. By sector, the 22 states accounted for 57%, 77% and 48% of agriculture, industry and services GDP at the national level respectively. Among the 22 states, however, services sector accounted for 67%, while agriculture accounted for 22% and industry, 11%.

On services sector, Anambra is in 3rd position grin, check the table

This is interesting!

Imo will be in the first ten.
I can't find Enugu in the list??
With all the noise about Kano, Ogun and Oyo, these states are still performing below per in many developmental indices.

They just have impoverished citizens with very low purchasing power. SMH!!

It's so shameful and pathetic that no ewedu state made it in the first 7 states!!!
Yet these people will always be making noise online.

Even Ogun that is close to Lagos still couldn't make it?? Oyo with its bogus population of almajiris and wastelands filled with brown roof couldn't make it?? Even Ondo a so called oil producing state couldn't make it??

Damn it, I know they are now waiting for the former political capital and current commercial capital of Nigeria, Lagos to brag with even when Lagos dominance has little to do with them.

Breeze don finally blow and we don see fowl yansh grin grin grin grin grin

This is the kind of intelligent analysis this thread needs, so states further down the list know what they need to improve on! Not all this attempt at dick measuring that always lowers the tone of any thread!

Anyone knows what the hell we do with Abia state!? Ordinarily this state should be running neck-and-neck with Anambra! sad
