You are right. if they refuse you, they will stamp your passport. infact, even if they give you, they will still stamp your passport. Their procedure is to stamp your passport with a reference number once it is recieved before any decision is even made. so if you get it, the vsa will show that you are succesful but if you dont, the lack of visa will show you had been refused. good luck

please better go with all your document and make sure it is real, expecially your Bank Statement do not lie on it because Canada Embassy always call the bank to confirm, i wish you the best

Please are you saying the embassy puts a call through to the bank? How does a bank confirm the caller is from an embassy? I thought they only send your document for verification by the bank. For me calling to ask about once statement implies finding out personal information about a bank's customer which is unethical.

not call to ask for one's statement balance - Uk and Canada has a way
of going around this issue anyways.

The embassy only calls to confirm the account and they have special
machine (or maybe they send to the bank) to confirm if the statement
is printed on a REAL bank paper....

I THINK THEY FAX YOUR DOCUMENTS TO THE BANK TO CONFIRM THE SIGNATURE OF THE SPONSOR,NAME, ACCOUNT OWNER ,AND THE ACC BALANCE ...I KNOW ABOUT IT VERY WELL.PAPER DONT REPLY MATTER AS IN FOREIGN COUNTRY THEY DONT BEAUTIFY BANK STATEMENT OF ACC. WITH SOME SECURITIES ON THE PAPER...

I was refused on financial ground and weak relationship with my sponsor visa in 2010 but my passport but my passport was not stamped. Iam still puzzled till today why it was not. Though I have been told the common practice is to stamp when one is refused. I intend re applying and I will appreciate tips that will make my re application a success.

But this time, my sponsor's company statement which I got yesterday was bad in the sense that it is showing that He owes the Bank 18.7 million naira. But the transaction History for the 6month interval is very good. Can I use this Bank statement?

You will be refused a visa if you use that bank account.

To start with..using company's bank account to apply for visa is not a good idea at all because the money in that account is for the running of the business.

The bank account is in bad state, there is no money there for you to use either for fees or your day to day expenses.

please I need help, I was refused study permit, reasons being personal assets and financial status. And family ties in Canada and in your country of residence.
I have a sister in Canada close to the school I applied for and I had 9 million in my account, also I had a company study leave letter. My aunt also paid my school tuition and sent backed letters of her accounts, tax and income in the United States. And letter stating she is responsible for my tuition all through my academic years in Canada
