Please is it compulsory to upload one's transcript as it was stated in ICES website. I am bothered because UNN does not release transcript to students

No, it's not. Let your school take care of that. You don't av to upload it.

You are the realest dude..... Though it tarries, patiently wait for it because it will surely come.

Please there are many people on this thread looking for a way out with ielts, therefore, you will surely be a blessing.

I have reserved 0.5 for your PPR script for your voluntary service.

Good evening house. Been away for a looooong time after getting AOR, December 11. Waiting for updates was tortuous, and following Nairaland appeared to be a bigger torment for my impatient mind. I decided to switch off everything concerning Canada and face my work.
Anyway, I still havent received PPR, but somehow my mind is at ease now.
Please contact me if you need any help with your IELTS, especially in writing and speaking. Let me be useful to the house!

This will not affect your application in any way.

Once your CRS is high enough for that particular draw, ITA is sure whether single, married (accompanying or not accompanying), separated or divorced.

Hello everyone. Please I need to know if I will get ITA for choosing the option of my partner not accompanying me to CA. Will it affect d whole process.

Good People,

I just had a terrible experience with a notary public. I wanted to notarize my gift deed and another document, na so the guy dey ask me questions oo. Who sent the money to you? What do you want to use it for? "You need to come here with the person that gifted you the money, then we can talk about the price."

I just left the crook's office at that point.

Please, I would appreciate it if anyone would recommend a notary public (on the Island or in Ibadan) you have used for gift deed. I am too busy to be explaining stuff.

Thanks as usual, people.
As a lawyer, I feel pained that you denigrated this NP as a crook for no apparent reason. I believe he was entitled to ask these questions, I might have asked same. It doesn't make him a crook I think he was just doing his job and may have been overzealous about it.

In other news, a gift deed should only have one signature, that of the giver, just like a power of attorney. I don't think it should be two.

I have a question. For one who is relying on a gift deed for POF. After receiving the money, does he have to invest in a Treasury Bill or Mutual Funds or Fixed Deposit before he can use it as POF? If the answer is "Yes" does it have to be the full amount or just a part of it?

Apologies if my words come out as demeaning, brother.

Nonetheless, I still stand by my statement about the NP wanting to overbill me. And that, to me, makes him a shyster.

Why must he see the person who gave me the money before he tells me my bill?

Besides, why would anyone be asking who sent the money to me when everything is clearly stated in the document? Why would he be interested in what I want to use my money for? That's my business. Not his.

True. I totally get it.

Indeed, our anyhowness in Nigeria has made a lot of people go through avoidable stuff.

However, I honestly think that his request for the other party was a stupid one. And, not taking the other party with me was not me telling him to lie! His job, like all notary publics, is to verify the authenticity/originality of a document. His job is not to dissect the content of the document(?).

Plus, me bringing the other party would do nothing to ascertain the authenticity of the document. I could take anyone with me and tell him that was the other party, you know?

Notary Publics only need to see the original copy of a document. All this other party request was just the guy trying to be Nigerian. The gift deed I presented na original. Original as original gets. The crook was only trying to overbill me after seeing the money on the document ni. smiley That's what I think. I could be wrong (but I doubt it).

And about your comment on notary publics in Nigeria loosing their credibility? I don't think that would be anytime soon. Maybe after India sha. cheesy Nigerians are nothing close to Indians.

His request is not stupid because the document contains another person's name. I understand he may have been overzealous but it is not unusual. What if your donor was the only person who signed the deed? Afterall it was a gift.Would it be stupid to ask to see him? The document could also have been forged, you could borrow cash from friends and state that your donor gave you cash. Ascertaining authenticity or 'originalness' of a document is also under his discretion, he could ask to see your valid ID cards and you cannot go and bring a random person then except you want to forge documents. Dissecting the contents of the document could also help him in determining his course of action. So yeah he may have wanted to 'overbill' you, but that doesn't invalidate his other questions.

Anyways, the stamp isn't compulsory. So don't bother yourself with finding one because you may find one that will charge you 300naira and run into trouble. Notary publics have stamps that can be verified so if you use anyhow one and some 'overzealous' VO decides to do some due diligence....

Thanks alot. I am not a lawyer.
I have MBA and my wife has M.Sc (Just this two certificates that we want to evaluate).
One more question please, any idea if any one has successfully paid with GTB Master Card in ICES?
ladymarshall:
Are you a lawyer? If not, why would you ever in your wildest dreams use IQAS? If yes, will your CRS score still be high if your law degree was evaluated below professional? Then use WES or ICES. ICES takes longer than WES tho.

Note: If the official website is saying something different from what we tell you here, please believe the OFFICIAL website. That is the most AUTHORITATIVE source. We give advice here based on their official information. He cannot explain more because he doesn't work with ICES. Trust the website more please. Also trust your guts, if you feel CES Toronto is better for you after reading the application process on their website, then use it.

Read the ECA section of page 1 to make up your mind on which ECA body to use under FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS, the third point, https://www.nairaland.com/5187408/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilled#78386492

I agree, ma'am. Maybe he was only trying to be diligent. Regardless, I still believe that he was a bit awkward or overzealous about it. Thanks for casting a broader light on this. Really appreciate.

No it is not a must to invest the money in a fixed investment. However, being that processing takes months, one stands a high chance of receiving ADR on status of funds from the VO if the funds is presented as being available in an account.
The amount that should be invested is based on the required settlement fund.

Have answers to number 1.
For your PEBC evaluation, you really do not need to submit work experience letters. However, one of the requirements is a letter from PCN confirming you are a licensed pharmacist. Its called letter of good standing, and for you to be considered fully licensed, you must have completed your one year internship. So you're definitely eligible to apply for that when you begin with the evaluation. I'm assuming you already know the other requirements, ( Document evaluation PEBC) its somewhere here or better still, digest the PEBC website. Its well explained... If you have further questions, feel free to ask. In addition to your internship, your NYSC experience and locum jobs can be used in getting more points, should you decide to use them. In fact you should, CRS getting higher. Lastly, there are enough materials from well meaning people on this platform for the English exams. You don't need to use all of it but ensure to use some of it. All the best as you start out.

Thank you so much for this response...i wasn't expecting a quick response...truly NL is the best. I also wanted to know something. What date of licensure should i fill in the NAPRA gateway....my date of induction or the date i got my first permanent license? A lot of people here mostly have years of post nysc experience and I'm about to pass out from NYSC. This issue has been the delay behind my initiating the evaluation application. embarassed

Hello house , pls i have a question regarding work experience .
can i claim work experience i did in 2009 with O Level result ? it was a two years job as an inventory officer .
