I have just one response to your question.

Your son is a US Citizen and does not require a Visa to travel to Canada. There's no need to add him to your Visa application, as he is an evidence of strong family ties to Nigeria for the purpose of your visa application

Lol12:
Hello House,

2) My Son is a US citizen, Is it necessary to include him in my application as person I'm traveling with? (I will be going with just him)

Kindly advise. thanks

1. why send the money to his account? why not use urs and his account statements.
2. I think it is important to add him since he will be traveling wih u even though he does not need a visa. I think someone here or in canada travel thread something about it being one of the reasons why he was denied .
3. It can take from 2 weeks to God knows so it is important to apply on time.

Lol12:
Hello House,

I have read from page 1 to 115. I am really grateful for the information shared.
However, I have some questions.
1) I run a business but it not yet registered. so I will be using my husband as the sponsor, he's got a good job and his statement of account will be much better. I want to transfer a large sum into his account. how long do we have to wait to apply for visa? I will be declaring childbirth.
2) My Son is a US citizen, Is it necessary to include him in my application as person I'm traveling with? (I will be going with just him)
3) Any idea of how long Canadian visa process take?

Please note: I had applied for a visa renewal for US but was given a date in August for interview, i will like to get a canadian visa before i go. I'm due vey early November.

Kindly advise. thanks

I read where she said she has sent a letter of explanation, that should be fine hopefully. Keep us updated @Nadesh
I pray your visa comes through. BTW, how long did it take you to get a response and did you include medical insurance?
@hotstepper, yes it's important to use same doctor used for application and let's remember to cancel or shift appointment if we can't meet up with already booked appointment due to visa delay. This visa thing is taking a whole lot of time now.
Re: Giving Birth In Canada by Hotstepper(f): 1:42am On Jun 05, 2019
Yes if not these drs that r agreeing to give appt sef will stop nd then everyone will be bk to square one cuz I know alot of drs that used to take cash patients and of recent said no ao something must have gone wrong somewhere.

Even with me, some ppl will.ask me to help them find accomodation, i will.find oo nd landlord will agree after begging only to disappointment them cuz

1. All of a sudden, these ppl now have ppl here ( so annoying)
2. they will.not even communicate again cuz they have used u nd dumped u.

So in this case, we r making things difficult for ourselves and ppl do not want to help again

If your application has exceeded the normal processing time (hope you understand the calculation perfectly though), if you write them you will get a response. Do you know the office handling your application? What I did at a time was to write their international office and copy all the known offices by me (at least 7-8 or so) that handles online applications and London office replied, likewise the international office.

@ people who have submitted passports following a PPR in the last two weeks , have you had your visas fixed on the passport or received passport back?
Re: Giving Birth In Canada by Woafavour: 5:30pm On Jun 05, 2019
Hello house. I submitted my TRv application on the 11th of march and i am still waiting for an update. My international passport expires in november, it was 8months left to expire as at when i applied for the visa. Do you think the short lenght of my passport to expire will be a barrier to my application

4weeks plus

They likely won't respond to your mail, yet too early.

@all, I see loads of you being quite anxious about the visa application processing time believing it's taking too long. Late year and early part of the year online application submission from observation in the past couple of years seem to take shorter times to process. Submission from late March to around May/June can take as much as 2months+ to process. From late June/July/August submission can sometimes take a whole lot of time to process. The times fluctuates generally, some much earlier a others pretty late, but the majority follows this line.

Processing times no longer bother me. I have done (submitted during summer) 7 months of anxiety before only to be granted visa valid for a year that I couldn't even use. I was forced to learn another dimension of patience, same I will advise others to learn too. Several examples of long processing time but I will just leave it at that. But not without advising that paper route is better during peak period, 6-8 weeks could be application's turnaround time. Online route is best between December, January and February mostly....

For the person above with less than 8months validity on passport, that won't necessarily affect your application, but you won't be granted a visa with validity more than you have left on the particular passport you applied with.

Hi,
where in Alberta did she give birth? I think you will have to visit a Canadian embassy in Saudi Arabia for notary Public. Ask other gurus
In my own case, I gave birth in Edmonton and Husband was with me. So we got to fill a form and got a citizen to stand in as a guarantor for us. Then we looked for the closest Canada Place office to us and had to take baby for passport photograph there because the ones we took at Walmart and Superstores were rejected. We applied for expedited passport and attached my husbands flight itinerary to it. It was ready for pick up after two days. But I was asked to come in with my passport as the mother and I also went with the baby.
Visa on Arrival is better.

Thanks alot for sharing you details... Congratulations!
Please, can u kindly guide me on how to obtain Visa on Arrival. Thanks alot.

Good evening all,
I have learnt alot from this thread having read from page 1 but i still have some questions.
1. How early can a preggy start application?
1b. Since At that time its not showing, is it okay to declare intent of purpose as birth?

2. Would one need to submit salary account( or just any personal account statement)and pay slip?
2b. If yes, is salary amount considered in visa decision.

3. Just newly wedded, must one change her name to husband's family name on international passport before applying?

4. Would 3m do?

Thanks in advance
