The rules don't allow that.

Only 23 players will be part of the team at the tournament.. anybody not on the team list can't be involved with the team in any activity related to the tournament...

Not everyone on that list deserve to the thee if we are to be honest... Akpeyi..Shehu...Iheanacho...
Let the Zimbabwe game be used to decide who drops out!!

grin

They can still be on Plane to Egypt, perhaps as protocol Officers or whatever. Lol

Ebuehi is a Joy to watch to be honest. Wish him a quick Recovery. Having both, Aina and him, as FBs won't be bad at all.

Concerning Jonas hector at least na bundesliga and after all we have a certain jamilu Collins playing in bundesliga 2

There is nothing bad in shehu ,his team has just been relegated and he might not stay but if he stays and you still want him invited then super eagles will always be mediocre

Rohr can invite a division 4 player he is the coach and not me ,if so then super eagles will always be mediocre

Concerning German coach low decision hope you know Germany went out of the group stage at the World Cup ? The Julian Brandt that was picked ahead of sane what did they do ? The Manuel neuer that started who has been injured for almost a year didn't he flopped ? because ter Stegen was supposed to start ,but the crafty German shifted the blame to ozil

The French team won the World Cup but giroud did nothing

Na people like una dey shout make dem drop ighalo because of china league but una go prefer division 4 players from Europe

Smh

U are just throwing accusations at me
. lol..or perhaps you couldn't comprehend what I meany by "its the coach's preference"

lol

Why should they be wasting their time in Egypt when they could just link up with their clubs for early pre season camping?

Jamilu Collins is a huge Potential. The future is bright for the Eagles..... If Rohr can at least try to adjust the Tactics to suit the Talents at his Disposal.

Honestly, I am having a feeling that Iheanacho will perform well in Egypt, if he plays behind a Striker. I wish to see him play in a 2-Man attack with Osimhen.

Of course Shehu would make it..
As for Akpeyi, any other goalkeeper should have been called up instead of him.. Theo Afelokahi, Ajiboye, David Nwokolor and even Alampasu..

We have seen enough of Akpeyi in the GWG and there's nothing good he offer..

Seriously, it would be really honourable if he retired after the AFCON!

Watch the below Clip and you will definitely pray for his Resurgence and as well envisage his striking partnership with Osimhen.

One thing is we like to rely on luck and we hope too much. If Iheanacho is dropped it will be for his own good because he will have to concentrate on personal development. That's if he knows what is good for him.

That nations cup should be meant for people in form not people hoping to use the avenue to pick form. What if he goes there and soil himself more and come back worse than before.

Nah..... Psychologically it's gonna be a big blow for him to handle, a big Setback and can affect his development as a Player. He's gonna feel abandoned, he's gonna feel dejected and rejected.

He's part of the Squad from the Beginning, thus it's appropriate he makes the final List at the Expense of the Newbies.

I'm not talking about this season.. I'm talking about the super eagles.. of what use is it if Aina wins the serie A player of the season but still can't replicate such good performance in the GWG?

Player selection in every national team is usually based on sentient.. Why did Deschamps drop Lacazette fot Giroud at the world cup? Why did Germany drop Sane? Why did Portugal drop Nelson Semedo? why did Belgium drop Nainngolan?? ..Its all based on the coach preference.. and it was glaring to all that Aina didn't do well..

So I ask u again, mention one good game he has had in the GWG to prove that he deserves a starting shirt!!

you're so funny...
when last did you watch Aina play for the super eagles....
for a player who was still playing for Chelsea academy about 2-3 years ago and now having a full season in a renowned league like seria A...should make anyone rethink that these season and the regular playtime he has enjoyed will definitely influence his super eagles performance...
please watch him play first...before you rate shehu who barely can make a good cross above him....

if AINA was not good why would clubs like floretina and torino wanna sign him?

you Nigerians barely watch seria A and league one but you're always the first to judge this players

hear this: let the coach select his strikers based on who take goal chances Important ahead of he other presently or who has the ability to create one in difficult situations let's this be the end of discussion on striker selection. as for aina and ebuehi you can't compare sleep to death, the latter is way tactically sound forget about aggressiveness or strength football is about sense and ebuehi has it plus speed, precision and good positioning.

appropriate
you must be kidding me...
the guy should be dropped for more serious players....making the team list should be based on merit and not sentiment.
same was used to omit Aina for the old pa elderson the last time....

Tyronne Ebuehi is still the goto RB every sensible person will pick bar injury. Warrior.

The reason people gave here to justify Aina drop from the world cup was that he conceded a penalty and he plays in a lower league but Tyrone did the same but was exonerated.

Now, he moved to Seria A and still played consistently in a more technical and tactical league yet he is not focused, he is not good enough defensively blah blah blah blah.

Who will take a Nigerian opinion seriously?

Now, we are hearing
