Nah..... Psychologically it's gonna be a big blow for him to handle, a big Setback and can affect his development as a Player. He's gonna feel abandoned, he's gonna feel dejected and rejected.

He's part of the Squad from the Beginning, thus it's appropriate he makes the final List at the Expense of the Newbies.

I disagree with you on this, such will only affect a lazy player, iheanacho him self knows he is not doing well so why will dropping him affect him instead of that to bolster him to fight back?

France coach keep on snubbing lacazette but does that stop him from doing well at arsenal?

What about aymeric laporte? dude will easily make any team in the world but deschamps keep on ignoring him but does that stop him from being on of the best defender in the epl? why doesn't he feel rejected?

A strong and ambitious player will always fight back

unfortunately nacho is not an ambitious player....
he could not hire a personal trainer and engage extra training hours to regain his place in the epl
only manage engage a personal trainer when it was obvious he won't be making the afcon list

Do you mean we should go with 4 strikers?

The reason people gave here to justify Aina drop from the world cup was that he conceded a penalty and he plays in a lower league but Tyrone did the same but was exonerated.

Now, he moved to Seria A and still played consistently in a more technical and tactical league yet he is not focused, he is not good enough defensively blah blah blah blah.

Who will take a Nigerian opinion seriously?

Now, we are hearing

Lol.. Oasis007 was right .

u like blowing things out of proportion.. .

Its easy to excuse Ebuehi for that penalty incident cus it wasn't 100% his fault..
Aina on the other hand messed up the one game that would have handed him a world cup ticket..

Sha relax.. I'm sure Aina will get to start on Saturday.. Another opportunity for him to get a starting shirt at the tournament...

Iheanacho has been an integral part of this Squad. He has contributed lots to the Team as a Player. If we are clamoring for his Exclusion, then we should do the same of Shehu, Musa and Ighalo.

I've never rated Shehu as a RB, cos playing as a FB requires both Defensive and Offensive Outputs, whereas Shehu is only good at the formal.

On Ighalo and Musa, they are playing in a less competitive Leagues, hence their fitness and tactical discipline are questionable at the moment.

you must be kidding me...
the guy should be dropped for more serious players....making the team list should be based on merit and not sentiment.
same was used to omit Aina for the old pa elderson the last time....

..... But one thing I like about you is; if Iheanacho plays against Zimbabwe and brings A Game on Board, I definitely expect you join the Give-Him-a-Chance Train.

Aina is not a player many believe in here. He's a Chelsea player, I've seen him play in Chelsea colours, generally he was just there. I remember he clocked the fastest speed in the Serie A and was touted the best crosser. At the start of his time at Torino he even shaved his hair and was looking decent.. Me I don't know who Rohr would drop or what tactics he will use until I see them play.

I really want to assess Iheanacho, Osimhen and Onuachu because I know one of them will be dropped except Rohr has another idea.

The second person should be between Awaziem and Semi.

Super Eagles Training Report : Iheanacho Surprise Inclusion In Top Five Performers
June 4, 20190747

Facebook Twitter Google+ Save

The Super Eagles of Nigeria have been training in Asaba ahead of their participation at the next Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt and Owngoalnigeria.com picks five players who have so far impressed in the three sessions the team have had so far.

His $1 Million Mistake Makes Thousands Rich In Lagos
1. Victor Osimhen – He has carried his form from Belgium to the camp of the Super Eagles of Nigeria. In the three training sessions the team have had so far, the forward has maintained his sharpness level which is the highest among the strikers in the camp of the team.

2. Moses Simon – No doubt he is fired up for this one. The way he was gliding past his markers with ease was the main highlight of his game during the session. He took it a step forward with his pin point delivery when in space and even in tight spaces.

3. Samuel Chukwueze – No way is he not going to make the squad for AFCON 2019. He was not just sharp and lively but also very decisive with the ball at his feet. Another side of his game he appears to have worked on is defending as he won so many balls for his team.

4. Leon Balogun – Despite his limited game time at Brighton and Hove Albion he looked very fit and sharp. During the session he got his interceptions and tackles right and didn’t tire out as expected. The personal training he had has kept him in shape for this.

5. Kelechi Iheanacho – Many criticised his inclusion in the squad of players for the tournament, no thanks to his poor form and lack of game time at English Premier League side Leicester City. That appears to have zero effect on his performance as he was very clinical during the shooting drills and the 5-aside game they played. He scored with almost all of his efforts.

Onuachu gives the SE a different option that Iheanacho can not offer.

It's a difficult question, can he Onuachu stand up and be counted in comparison to the other options. The only contenders are Osihmen and Iheanacho.

In comparison he is more consistent and regards the Denmark league there are questions but so also are there questions about the Belguim league.

Iheanacho has been impotent for two seasons and he doesn't even look like he can up his game.
one of the few times I agree with you

Rohr has shown him he's dispensable. He has realized he's no more highly rated Lad from Nigeria. He's more the Player, the World is comparing with Rashford and Mbappe due to his exceptional Exploits as a Teen.

Yes we can't, it's just a Reminder. Do you honestly think Iheanacho won't give it a Fight?! You expect him to lose his last place of joy right now as far football is concerned?!

He has points to prove at the Tournament. It's gonna be a make or mar Tournament for his Career. He's gonna come good bro.

The battle for the players to be axed definitely will be in defense & forward between Awaziem & Ajayi, Osimhen & Iheanacho or probably on the wings between simon & onyekuru. The coach rates Kalu highly & admire the swift left foot of Chukwueze. The only left footed winger in the squad. Ighalo & Onuachu offers something different from Osimhen & Iheanacho. Musa though consistently inconsistent is untouchable except for injury and same goes for the rest of the squad. Rohr already has his preference of players. Just look at his past matches, see his squad, his first team choice & the Sub that always come in. He's predictable.

Who are those who don't believe in Aina? If Rohr doesn't believe in him he wouldn't have replaced Shehu after he got injured neither will he start the second leg against Libya.

How many times/minutes did he play for Chelsea?

Aina still started a game out of two when he first got injured. He didn't get to play three matches due to suspension. You lied.

Before anybody knew Ebuehi here, I already knew him and I was the one that introduced him and Ezihiue here.

So, spare me the learner stuffs because you are the learner here.
