U nailed right there bro.. I'm not an arsenal fan but I make it an habit to visit their social media pages after their games..Its rare to see Iwobi not being bashed in a game arsenal loss as long as he played.. on Twitter there are some accounts created solely to troll Iwobi.. Despite this the dude is still waxing strong.. though he is inconsistent, he still manages to churn out good performances sometimes...

Iheanacho crumble before the fans even got to him.I won't feel sad if he gets dropped.. He really needs the time to reflects on his career... ..

I don defend the guy on Facebook tire grin

Some foreign fans have sworn to hate him no matter what he does

if KC was getting half the abuse iwobi gets from his own fans he would have retired since.

Its not about abuse. Strikers go through this, he is in a rot. Sometimes you feel you will never score a goal again and you stop trusting your technique. He just needs to score goals there is no other cure for that only the ball going in the back of the net. Even if the ball bounces off his bum bum it will help him.

I have one Stat for you

Iheanacho is playing behind James Maddison who has created the most goal scoring chances in Europe

His inability to score goals is not about system or Vardy, Ndidi has 3 goals already this season from DM

God bless you richly!!!

Iheanacho does not care about the feelings of Leicester fans. Iheanacho only cares about scoring goals and that is why he is down. Trust me the boy doesn't lack in mental strength he just wants to score goals.

everybody is shouting Balogun, when we should be asking about Shehu that has failed to distinguish himself in the RB role

Shehu and Iheanacho should be left behind, Iheanacho especially, to prove that you can't just laze around an entire season, then jump inside the Super Eagles. We aren't a confidence-building team.

You just made an outstanding point here. Especially nacho. At least Shehu has been playing regularly for his club

again like i've said before national team is not a rehabilitation centre. if KC had been doing it for months with nigeria i wouldn't be too bothered about his club form. infact that's one of the reasons i backed him before last year's world cup even though his club form was poor. i wish iheanacho all the best but if i'm to choose between pampering a player low on confidence to selecting a player who is in form and ready to deliver sorry i will choose the latter

usually when hazard plays the AMF role it's more like an auxiliary striker. you remember how bergkamp used to play for arsenal and kanu in his early super eagles days

It doesn't change the fact that Hazard played the AMF for Chelsea.

I really don't get what's giving some people the idea that Balogun would be dropped..
Seriously I find it hilarious that a lot of people here who follow the beautiful game so well still don't know how the national team is different from club..

Balogun despite having limited game time at his club has always delivered in the GWG... I really can't remember the last time he had a bad game in the GWG.. when we played South Africa last year I was against him starting ahead of Omeruo due to his lack of game time but he ended up surprising me!
Dude is still very much useful to the SE and will always get called up!
Mikel had his a*s glued to the Chelsea bench by Conte but was still called up,started games and delivered in the colours of the GWG..
Its the same everywhere.. once a player has lasted long and proved himself in the national team colours, the club he plays for or his current form won't prevent him from getting call ups.. I mean countries like Belgium and Brazil took players from the Chinese league to the world cup!

Sadly, the same can't be said of Iheanacho.. he has regressed badly... all this excuse of him being backup to vardy and Leicester changing coaches doesn't add up...He got plenty chance at Leicester to prove himself..
Luckily, another chance awaits him on Saturday..If he doesn't score or at least put in a good performance, Rohr will be doing us a great disservice not to drop him....

Why Balogun is benched at Brighton beats me. Even for cup games where the erstwhe coach Chris Houghton could have rotated his squad.

The guy is very dedicated and committed. I hope he comes good. At least he didn't miss sitters

That's how someone said that Moses Simon should start playing AM.

These roles are for highly intelligent players with good vision on the pitch and intelligent passing skills. I watched JJ Okocha play for Zidane in a charity match of recent and I was still awed at what he could do. There is no active player in our present Squad that could pass or dribble like JJ. He looked so fit like he could still play. I would like our CMs to watch JJ clips and see what they can learn from him (apart from his show boating)

If Simon Moses was at the world cup, I would have advocated he gets dropped alongside Iheanacho but I just feel for the guy!! cos he hasn't been to any tournament with the SE. Onyekuru left for me, is untouchable from the final list, he's a very talented player..he really is!

Assuming Iheanacho scores a goal or does something really magnificent on Saturday to secure a ticket to Egypt then who gets dropped for him?

At least one player from the attackers list would be dropped for sure...

Musa, Ighalo and Iwobi are guaranteed spots...

Kalu and Simon are one of Rohr favorites due to their ability to play on either sides of the wing and wingback plus their ability to track back and defend..

Onyekuru and Onauchu already proved themselves in the last games and they offer something better than their competitors (Musa and Ighalo)

Chukwueze and Osimhen are untested at national level and young but they have been one of our best players this season..two super talented players that any serious coach would integrate into his team early to build their experience and confidence .(like what England did with Sancho, Rashford and Arnold)

So who exactly will be dropped for Iheanacho..

Make we reason am abeg..

You said that Leicester City fans were getting to him and this is what I answered about. I personally wouldn't have invited Iheanacho and Balogun because they are the only odd ones out. But as I always say the decision is up to the coach and I will accept whatever it is.

Comparing game time of someone that played 30 epl games and even started about 10 of them to someone that played just 13?

Why you go even compare striker and defender stats?

Who dey follow you argue?

There you have it guys.
Rohr will definitely drop Iheanacho (Confirmed) and a defender.
From the look of things, it's either Semilore Ajayi/Shehu to be dropped!
Also expect an attacking 3-5-2 formation. With Kalu and Simon on both wings. Omeruo, Ekong/Awaziem, Balogun/Ogu at the back.
A midfield of Mikel, Ndidi and Iwobi will withstand any midfield on the African continent!

How did you know?

Let's be realistic here, Iheanacho cannot turn a new leaf all of a sudden!
It would take time for him to get out of the mess he has found himself.... No player should be sacrificed for him,if Rohr would be objective.! He can score a hattrick for all I care...

If they can't make it the SE should play an NPFL side

Friendly must be played tomorrow
