Most bank don't require pin to recharge and that's for the number you registered with, as for third party number you will need to enter a pin or your atm card's last four digit (I doubt if that atm card's last four digit is still in use), BTW, I am talking about transfer of money not airtime

Usually on weekends. Once you leave, they retrieve your card and use it to make online purchases that only requires card number, exp date and Security - information that is available on the card.

10k for emergencies bro better than loosing your whole savings.
Its true because I was able to pay for a flight ticket without otp because the phone was home and it took me like 1hr .
But in most cases it requires Otp most times and only on sites that I have given my card permission to make payment without otp

1) your sim card connected to your bank should be kept safe ( mine doesn't leave the house )
2) lock your sim card
3) once you loose your phone that contains your bank account sim. Block the acc immediately.
4) I have 1 ATM card and have 3 bank acc.
Only 1 account has ATM card and used for online payment etc.
I keep a maximum of 10k in the account with card.
I just transfer what I need to the account with ATM card from the account without ATM card .

Before you proceed in locking your sim, make sure you request for your puk or get it from where it is written on your sim certificate body, the reason is because you have only 3 attempt to enter your pin and when you miss it, the sim will lock.

You can only unlock it with your puk number, after that it will ask you to enter the pin you want to use and confirm it by entering it the 2nd time, but make sure you have your PUK number with you
